This tale has been repeated far too often on here. RK isn’t a good coach besides supposedly being “motivational” and has no idea how to turn things around. I have no idea why anyone would think if he goes up to the GM seat that he’d magically all of a sudden know how to fix this team. The answer is NOT to move RK upstairs.

Botts gets all the attention. I’d argue wholeheartedly that RK has no clue in turning this team around. He has no answers and this team hasn’t improved at all this year. I’d send Botts and RK both packing. Don’t halfway blow this up. If Pegula is going to do it, do it all the way. New GM, let him bring in HIS coach.

Funny how days ago people wanted Botts to be a buyer at the deadline and there was so much hope instead of what should have been reality that we had no chance and should have started clearing out and being big sellers like most of TSN’s coverage was figuring for us that day. The serious teams have started winning this week. The Sabres are doing what the Sabres do best.

You see that wonderful montage of highlights of real hockey and great teams we had. And then this awful edition of the Sabres spill out into the ice and the crowd barely claps and the depression of another lost season instantly sets in.

RK isn’t that smart quite obviously

And yet a lot of people seem to think RK is a good or ok coach. I think he’s quite obviously a moron. I don’t care if he doesn’t personally like Skinner or whatever excuse. It’s beyond idiotic to sign Skinner to this huge deal and then not put him on the top line with one of the best players in the league. It’s a fireable offense as far as I’m concerned. This coaching staff doesn’t know how to fix the power play, penalty killing or put their best players in positions to succeed. They are clueless.

About 5 games a year Zemgus looks like the first round pick he was.

And McDavid is the better player. That doesn’t make you a bad Sabres fan for acknowledging the obvious instead of arguing when someone says it. Jack is great. McDavid is greater. I’m pretty sure 100% of teams would take McDavid before Eichel. So there is NO argument.

It’s BS to want to have the universally accepted best player in hockey on our team? And how close we were to having that happen? Ok
