  1. Murdoch Mysteries. One episode had an epic fail by the editors. Show was set in early 20th century Toronto, but a minivan could be seen driving way off in the background.

    MacGyver (reboot)

DCI Banks (one of the most emotional endings I’ve ever seen in a series - especially the stone cairn in the very last scene).

    Homestead Rescue

The Red Green Show. (I think Amy Sedaris tried to do a show with a similar concept, but it fell flat on its face. Red Green is like the Far Side comic strip: don’t even try to copy their style.)

Guess I'm old and getting to care less really. If the Sabres weren't here I really would have little interest in hockey really. If the Bills moved I'd just watch whatever games were on.

Moving the Sabres would be one thing. Not many people would notice. Moving the Bills would be an entirely different issue, given the worldwide fan base - especially in places like 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿,  🇷🇺 , and 🇰🇿.

I hope that Adams moves up to President.   Karmanos to GM and a new AGM added.  Meaning Kim is not active in day to day operations.

I cannot see him selling the team or even a piece of the team,

Any other change is concerning to me given the Pegula track record.  No new Pittsburgh or Penn State people please.

ICYMI, there does not appear to be that many PGH/PSU people at OBD in Orchard Park. More like Charlotte, if you ask me.

Adam’s is doing the right thing by not overpaying to get a passable goalie on the short term after multiple injuries compromised his stop gap. He has multiple good options for long time and people just need patience. Teams who splurge on a goalie coming from nothing always regret it and don’t win cups.

If I’m not mistaken, Rick DiPietro proves your point.

I know you are, but I would have never pegged you as a 'death metal' fan.  Cool.

Not all metal. Some of it shows brilliant musicianship and artistry, and some of it shows that some people have zero talent. (Even William Hung could do better than some of them.) Having said that, I look at bands like Origin and marvel at the speed and precision of their music.

As an aside, I’d love to be able to share videos from the YouTube channel The Little Death, but I know that the lyrics are NSFW (and I don’t think the bosses here would appreciate that). She does R&B renditions of death metal songs, which just absolutely make me howl with laughter.

I actually commented on one of her videos a while back on how she can keep a straight face while doing this. She said she can’t. It takes her several tries until she gets it right to her satisfaction.

Mark is great and such a unique style ...

    One of my favourites.

It was definitely a cutting edge song for its time.

Now, with all of the bravo sierra I’ve dealt with lately with hardly anyone living in reality, this tune sums up some of my frustrations:

I just saw a graphic on Facebook of Tom Brady’s win-loss record against every team in the league.  The only team he has a losing record against is NO at 4-5.  His record against Buffalo is 33-3.

Holy ***** am I glad he’s out of our hair.

Talk about having our number! 😳

Also, last I checked... Diggs didn't beat a pregnant woman half to death and isn't a total pile of 💩💩💩

Talent sure, but the NFL isn't exactly about high character men.

Just like Hell’s Angels: When we do right, no one remembers. When we do wrong, no one forgets.

His pay probably just went up 600% and he's now going to be the boss.

For single minded, overly ambitious, completely career obsessed guys like NFL coaches, the power alone is worth the switch.

I don't think it will work out well; I don't see Daboll as HC material.

The funny thing is that he’s moving to another state to take the job.

  10. You know, with all of the griping and whining that some people are doing about coaching and play calling and who needs to get sacked, I’m left wondering if some of you guys are getting your résumés ready to take their places should any or all of them be let go.

Did it hurt to lose the game? Absolutely! Should any of them get sacked? Absolutely not! There is no way I could ever do their job, and I don’t think any of us could do it either. Having said that, given how people have said that this was one of the greatest football games ever, I’m left with the impression that this is comparable to Bobby Fischer vs. Boris Spassky in 1972.

So, dammit, they’re still my team, and I could not be more than proud of them!

The Bills choked in every close game this year.......

    Thats the problem.

If anything, the season opener was a fluke. It was thankfully not a portend of things to come.

But that loss to Jacksonville was one where I wish I was wrong when I called it. It’s just that when I read how dinged up the OL was that week, I had a feeling that we would be in trouble and I was proven right (unfortunately).

Hahahaha.... I'm not the only one who would suggest this!  😄

And how old is this caller?

I admit that I would have said something this foolish in my younger days. In fact, I’ve done so on here in the past. Numerous times. Nonetheless, I think it’s safe to say that most of us are much happier with the current FO in place - including ownership. (Yes, I did say that. FIFM if you disagree.)

As a color scientist by profession, I approve of the color and design of the jersey on top and while I like the understated hues on the icethetics version on the bottom, there's a serious "O Brother where art thou" prison vibe there ...

With the prison vibe and being out of the playoffs 10 years and counting, I feel like I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow.

"I wish our execution was better"   and we wish you would just admit that you blew it. We would have much more respect for you for that.

So who do we want to coach the Bills next? Ralph Krueger?
