Tampa really bowing to the pressure here. They certainly don’t look like the team that beat the leafs 8-1 last week.
Yup. TOR has scored 2 ESGs, a PPG, and a SHG. That’s brutal!

15 Georgia Bulldawgs drafted. Crazy. I guess UGA's team was pretty good last year.
Well, given that they won the National Championship back in January, that’s

I forgot to mention that there was some other harpy out there who was shooting her mouth off on Facebook a few weeks ago. To which I said that she, “can’t understand necessary truths”.
Sorry to all the ladies out there…

Okposo is captain by default, he doesn't need a C...everyone in the locker room respects the hell out of that dude.
Craig Rivet made mention on ATW about his experience in the locker room when he was a SJ Shark. That room was stacked with leadership and chemistry!
Maybe it took some time to get the right people in both the FO and the locker room.

I’ve done something similar recently, but on a “preacher’s” FB page to call his bluff - for reasons I shall not discuss here.

It would be cool of someone grabbed the GW puck with the intention of presenting it to RJ later. 👍🏼
Who knows? They just might do that.
Just like when the Calgary Flames honored Rip Simonick with a puck when he went to his 3500th game as Sabres’ team equipment manager.

Taylor Hall is an a-s-s.
Come to think about it, that does make him a perfect Bruin.
😜
What!? You don’t think he’d make a perfect Maple Leaf?

Let’s see if BuffaloBobZ makes out big again tonight.

Those will be some extremely difficult shoes to fill. Just like Jerry Orbach on Law & Order.

I made that. His arms are too far apart for a golf bag unless you make the bag as big as his body.
I’ll just envision it in my head.
If anything, it’s his participation trophy for being in games this season.

Where’s @eball when we need him? Hoisting a golf club bag would make this pic so special.

That image of Eichel raising his arms like that reminded me of something I saw here on SabreSpace back in the days of yesteryear. We had a member whose username was “eball”. His profile pic was Mats Sundin, then-Captain of the TMLs, raising a golf club bag over his head as if he was raising the Stanley Cup.
It was funny back then, and it’s still LOL material today.

Well, at last Jack can go into the offseason secure in the knowledge that he did everything he could, strapping that Knights team on his back with a valiant six game run where he put up...
*checks notes*
...zero goals, 1 assist...
*shuffles papers*
ONE point? In six games? One Goddamn point? And he was a minus 5? Ah, the hell with it...
So many good posts about this. I just didn’t want to quote all of them and cause the forum to crash in the process and @SDSforce me to pony up to pay for repairs to the website.
Nonetheless, my first thought about hearing the good news this morning:

Except Hutton wasn't.
He was a FA signing.

He wasn't brought in for leadership either.
Either way, there's no scenario in which Buffalo 'wins' or even 'breaks even' on this trade until Thomspon/Johnson lift the cup.
Let’s not forget that Carter Hutton was a piece of that ROR trade that came over here. To me, unless I’m missing something, the only bright spot so far in that trade has been Tage Thompson. I hope he keeps it up into next season.

The Knights have been plagued by injuries all year, but that didn't stop them from ascending to the top of their division. My Son is a die hard VGK fan and earlier in the season I told him, "I think someone in the Knights organization sold their soul to the devil", how can this team keep winning with all these injuries?
Then Jack hit the ice. He got off to a slow start, but once he got his legs back he started playing like the old Jack and was the best Knight on the ice in most games, but then with the season hanging by a thread, he's completely vanished. Prior to these last 4 games he was on a 6 game point streak where he had 5g, 2a, was a +8, and was averaging 4.6 shots/gm. The last 4 games, 0 points, -2, and only 2.5 shots/gm.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the Knights have fallen apart since Jack started playing. He just might be the Russell Westbrook of the NHL.

How many call ups have they had from the farm?
