  1. It’s probably that Hamilton is awful and Reinhart isn’t the kind of guy who will just humor him over and over again. Some people don’t suffer fools well.
  2. Yeah, Ullmark seems like pretty much the nicest guy ever. It’s Hamilton. Every time he asks a question it has three parts, and he tells you the answer he wants you to give.
  3. I must be crazy because I think that would be ok. I doubt they will make a trade that good.
  4. He has some mathematical definition that stems from his model. There are charts involved.
  5. Only weird part is that Lebrun was assuming that it wouldn’t be for futures. I think most here already felt it would be mostly a picks/prospects/young players return, as opposed to a star for star trade. Especially since it was already reported (by Friedman?) that Adams was looking for the equivalent of 4 1st round picks in an Eichel trade.
  6. Comtois is 26 months older than Turcotte, not just a year. It doesn’t invalidate your opinion, but I’m a stickler for facts.
  7. Performative? I mean, it’s a real strength training exercise. Eichel is well known for lifting a lot of weights. I don’t think he stopped when he got to the NHL.
  8. The Hasek Era The Post Hasek Era The Post Lockout Era The Middling Era The Tank Fruit Era The Post Tank Fruit Era
  9. I can’t muster the energy to care. The nuances of Eichel’s workout habits will soon be something for another NHL team (fan base) to concern themselves with.
  10. Disagree with the bolded.
  11. Who said he hates the player? You said he was high on Power. My question would be, compared to who? If Scouch is high on Power, then everyone in the world is high on Power, because Scouch rats Power lower than pretty much everyone. Who cares what they think? I don’t know, you are the one who was talking about what Scouch says.
  12. Lol, that’s pretty funny. Chad needed some attention?
  13. Scouch is not high on Power. He has Power at 6-7 on his draft board. That’s good. I’m surprised it says 4 weeks since he was on the ice skating the next day.
  14. He is very good. Played in the AHL and NHL as an 18 year old this past season.
  15. A not insignificant segment of the overall population.
  16. If no Zegras, I would 100% want Drysdale and #3 OA.
  17. I am 100% guilty myself.
  18. Disagree. The NHL is not a league of great players lifting up those around them and leading them to success. That’s the NBA.
  19. I would be happy with that.
  20. Yes. He is far from the only one guilty of being dramatic.
  21. “Risto is 100% part of the problem.” ”Risto is 100% of the problem.” These two sentences don’t mean the same thing.
  22. There is no such thing as “the guy” on an NHL team. It takes several “the guy”s to make a good team. What is a Jacker? Lol
  23. I would be ok with drafting Wallstedt around 10, or that Cossa guy in the late 1st after pick 20. Especially in a year where the overall depth of skater talent is pretty weak. Goaltending is really important.
  24. It must depend heavily on the contract situation, right? Is Reinhart willing to sign a long term contract with a team as part of a trade? If not, what is just one year of Reinhart worth?
