Also, I would say versatile players who can play multiple roles. Quinn we’ve seen play down a lineup, grind, and be solid defensively, Rosen plays the PK. I guess this falls under being coachable, but I just wanted to add.

Yeah, ok, but really these measurements didn’t come from the NHL or NHL teams because these kids haven’t been weighed or measured by the NHL. I don’t see how they could be exactly accurate because they mostly haven’t been updated in many months.

Rest assured that those of us without deep emotional issues that keep us coming back have already been weeded out.

In a sense I also want them to get tougher to play against, however, that doesn’t need to be a primary focus of every single draft pick or player acquisition. They drafted a 6’5” 215 lb guy at #1. It takes all kinds to make up a team.

I don’t know. I didn’t make any claims about Rosen’s future. NHL prospects often add 20 lbs or more from the time they are 17 until 22-23. So you think the weight must be accurate, but then immediately accuse the height of being incorrect?

Where did the NHL get his size from? Did they measure it themselves? No, because there was no draft combine. They got it from the last time he was officially weighed, which might have been when he reported to camp before this past season. Usually the measurements for the better prospects are all accurate because they are measured at the combine. That’s not necessarily the case this year. And no, I didn’t watch the draft at all so far.

Regarding Raty, I thought I saw some stuff about him really struggling with confidence this past season. Maybe there is some mental health things going on that scouts know about, and “confidence” is just kind of being used as a cover word. Total speculation on my part.

From that tweet it sure seems like he knows nothing about Rosen apart from raw stats. There is a lot of ignored context there. It doesn’t reflect well on Bader.
