  1. Bichette having a fantastic year, though. Has *16 more* hits than anyone else in AL. Leads Jays in OPS, AVG (.335), Runs, RBI, HR, and Hits (76). A bright spot for sure so far. Gotta find a way to lock him up LT.
  2. What a tough stretch....
  3. What an upset by the Germans
  4. Wear them. Come on now.
  5. Any other Harry Potter fans? My ranking of the 8 films (it alternates) 1 Half-Blood Prince 2 Prisoner of Azkaban 3 Order of the Phoenix 4 Deathly Hallows - Part 1 5 Deathly Hallows - Part 2 6 Philosopher’s Stone 7 Chamber of Secrets 8 Goblet of Fire
  6. Ya. And the first 4 were on Prime. Kinda weird
  7. It’s somewhat satisfying even though they aren’t here that Reinhart and Eichel have proven to be players that elevate in the playoffs, contrary to their Leaf counterparts. Dunno why, considering they aren’t even here, but somehow it is. Equity from previous Sabres vs Leafs debates I guess
  8. Taking about consensus rankings and whether we “reached” is a good way to Bat signal @dudacekif you feel like losing an argument
  9. Love Yellowstone and the spin offs
  10. Diet/exercise?
  11. I don’t really like jackets
  12. Kinda looks like a Rook The Green Jacket, man Also NBA people do say Larry O’Brien a ton
  13. I didn’t even pay attention to the EK stuff haha
  14. More people know what the Cy Young is than the Stanley cup.
  15. This is what people think Hellebuyck will cost. And most of the replies scoff at paying even that
  16. Injury luck will play a big part, to your point. but load management is definitely on the way. No to the extent of the nba I’d say but on the way nonetheless
  17. Could be a disconnect that stems from the fact that, regardless of what the core is perceived to be, our 3 best forwards are assuredly NOT a bunch of kids. Any future projection always seems to involve our “core” (not our current best forwards, for some reason) being melded in to one of the best offenses in the league seamlessly, at some vague point down the line, while said offence waits there, at the top of the league, in a holding pattern. ”this isn’t going to go the way you think!” is a possibility, here
  18. I need to get around to watching the KA presser. He’s a great (I think? Really good?) GM who I absolutely can’t stand to listen to when he talks
  19. Not for nothing there’s been plenty of portents foretelling load management making its way to the nhl
  20. also definitely more famous.
  21. Ya, Briere’s breakaway goal. Magical stuff. I also remember being on a high, going out to a movie or something, and my Dad rather than still being jubilant when I got home, letting me know about Tallinder’s prognosis. 2006 was THE year, ya
