Minny isn't going to let Lundell go by while they pick Sanderson. I'm not certain Sanderson is there at 9. I'd be happy with Lundell but again, I don't think he will be there. With all the talk about trading Laine, maybe Chevy will end up with another top 10 pick.

He's been a pleasant surprise but do we need him if we have a bona fide 1RHD and and DeMelo signed as our second right-hand defenseman question? He is making 3m for one more year and then he'll want a substantial raise and I'm not sure if he is worth it.

I wouldn't have any interest in him. We need a 1RHD ideally. DeMelo will probably be re-signed. I'd like to see a bona fide 1RHD and DeMelo re-signed and Poink traded. We have enough O on the back end, we need talent with size (and a mean streak would be nice).

I'd do it in a heartbeat but Chevy will probably ride his contracts out until he only has a year left. His agent (Overcharge) seems to be walking him to UFA or a trade, whichever comes first.

Copper has played RW on the checking line but not on the top 2 lines. Wheeler and Laine pretty much have those spots locked up and Roslo is a RWer as well. Besides, what makes you think Chevy would trade Copper this off-season?

It is VERY unlikely Drysdale is available at 8. Most have him as the best D man in the draft and a tier above the rest of the D men. I don't know why but I think Chevy is going to go a bit off the board at 10. Maybe Lapierre or someone like that. I'd love Drysdale though.

No way Drysdale is there at 8 and Askarov will be. Not sure about Sanderson but I think he will have a long future in the NHL as at least a 2 Dman.

Pie isn't going anywhere. Jarvis has started moving salary out to re-sign him already. I bet Cernak from TB could be had with an offer sheet though.

Copper isn't a 2C in my opinion. Okay for 3 or 4 games but nothing permanent. He's been tried here as 2C. Great defensively and rarely in the wrong position or let's his check get on the wrong side of him. I can see him becoming a coach when he retires. Mitts is a gamble but one I would be willing to take. He's still very young. If he comes around within 2 years and ends up centering our 2nd line, I'd be esctatic. I'd start him off as 3C next season and shelter him somewhat between Roslo and Harkins.

No interest in Risto whatsoever and Ehlers plays either wing. He played RW in junior but Maurice like his wingers to shoot on the side they are playing. A 2nd might be too much...what about 8, Reinhart and a 3rd for Ehlers and 10? @Thorny, if you want Copper, I'd probably make a trade centering around Mitts and Copper.

I would...Scheif was drafted 7th and didn't play with the Jets until 2013-2014 and we could have used a center. Roslo is a RWer and he is in the same boat as Armia was...he isn't going to beat out Wheeler or Laine. He's done well when moved up to the top 6 wing spot when there has been injuries but he is no a 1C or 2C. He played on a line with AM and Tkachuk before they were drafted so he has played aand showed well with better players (he's fast) but he isn't a line driver and won't get a chance in the top 5 here unless there is an injury. I'd do the trade straight up. Some Jets' fans would crucify me though!
