    Honestly I felt good for the season ticket holders. We have had on going discussion in another thread about the secondary market and how down its been league wide and the many empty seats there are all over the league. What sucks is that it was not Sabres fans dying to see the rebirth of their team. But once you put them on Stub Hub any one in the world can be your customer, so blaming the STH is kind of hard. Yesterdays loss was one I envisioned and hoped for at the start of the year. They lost yeah, BUT they are so much better than the last two years, and they will win those games regularly with a few more pieces. That sentence is what I wanted to say after every loss. I get to say that (blame some inconstant refs) and feel really good about my team after a loss. All is right in my hockey world.

    Any one catch Don Cherry and the Coach's Corner on Hockey Night in Canada? Ryan O'Reilly is a good Irish Boy. GMTM is no longer certifiable for giving him the contract he did. The pimp is a genius.

    Kind of. They where tired from a good d-zone beat down, Crawford didn't want the cycle to begin again and made a bad decision. Franson pinched, beat a Hawks forward (Mr. Slow won a race!!!), and hit the net. There's some hard work went into that gift.

    That's what I thought. But the* local feed* of pre and post game also entails local advertisers. It's not bad, for what it is. If they could double the price of adds, or have more money from game time commercials I'm sure they could do better. But I still believe their as good as one should expect given the budget/conditions they operate under. If this was a NYC team in MSG's home studio with $$$'s they spend on commentators and analysis it would be awesome. But the Sabre's are MSG's red headed step child.

    I get to compare it to Root Sports (Pittsburgh). Very similar. You get to compare it to Philly(?), apples and oranges with local advertising dollars. Don't get me wrong, the MSG feed is a giant NYC commercial and it's terrible. But the pre/post game stuff is on par with small city markets IMO.

    My memory is with yours ink, it was a ridiculous amount. It was definitely a figure to make him one of the highest paid defense-men at the time. Well, that's what we where led to believe anyway.

    If he's allowed to play his game against third/fourth lines, players he should be tasked to defend, he plays a simple tough game well.

    I watched *Christmas in Connecticut* last night, so I'm calling the second period hunky-dorie, everythik is hunky-dorie.

    Best pressure of the game started by the fourth line, and the only goal by the third pairing guy who was faster than the Chicago forward to the puck. More will than skill showing right now.
