Is it wrong that I prefer to watch the TSN highlight of Jack's goal? RJ saying "Jeichel" makes me a little uneasy. Perhaps I missed the memo where "jeichel" is the preferred nickname. I think we can do better.

I thought the song sounded good. I just think if we're getting blown out and David Legwand cashes one in to make 5-1, LMCMT is a little too in your face for the moment.

Are they going to use discretion when using the goal song? If we're down 5-0 and score with 2 minutes left in the third, I don't think breaking out some "Let me clear my throat" is a good look.

I honestly have not watched a single second of the game, but the boxscore and lineup seems like quite the homage to last year.

Where does everybody come out on Legwand vs. Larsson as the 4th line center? First off, if Legwand vs. Larsson isn't even a thing, then please ignore this post. I prefer Larsson and it is largely based on his play at the tail endof last year. I love the youth movement on this team and I feel like Larsson can be a part of that. I know he'll probably be the first guy off the bench, but I feel like he deserves a chance for a bigger role.

It's been exciting watching the potential our offense might have this year. With the defense still being suspect, I can imagine a lot of 5-4 and 4-3 types of games. Who do you think leads the team in scoring this year? If you want to make an actual prediction of stat lines for this year, be my guest. I will say that Ennis leads the team with 71 points.

Now that the development camp is over, we need to wait two months before training camp begins. What is everyone going to do with this lull in the hockey schedule? I guess following the ROR saga could kill some time or perhaps I could take up whittling.

On the Buffalo News website, they have a photo gallery from day two. In the one picture, Jonas Johansson is drinking Gatorade at the bench. The caption reads "Jonas Johansson makes a save during day two of Sabres' Development Camp." It made me chuckle a little.

They just show TM via satellite scouting some Mini-Mite game in South America and he has Jack Eichel written on his Tim Horton's cup.

Which player would you have most wanted to see win a Cup as a Sabre? I'm in my early thirties so the great teams from the 70's don't really resonate with me. I would probably pick Hasek. He was the first player I attached myself to as I started watching hockey. I was in constant awe of his talents and it was definitely bittersweet seeing him win that first Cup in Detroit.

Garth from Hockeybuzz thinks this package would get it done fo the third pick: #21 Grigorenko Hodgson Big Z He thinks since Darcy drafted Zadorov and Grigs, he'd be enamored with getting them. He also traded for Hodgson and Garth thinks Darcy still has a man crush on him. I want some of whatever Garth is smoking if he thinks that would be enough.
