Woah, that was amazing!

She was on one of my favorite shows for a little while in White Collar.

heh. They'll finally land a big fish IMO. I cannot understand how they've been even functional with that terrible D for so long. Kronwall withstanding, they're terrible.

Go London!

The only way that is acceptable is if they move down. :P

The most incompetent since MacTavish/Tambellini/Howe, or Feaster/whoever else for sure. Landeskog would be the ideal fit to me, he plays well in all three zones. He's also a responsible and team leader in his early 20's. Duchene is a great player in his own right, I wouldn't hate it either way, but I would prefer Landeskog. I'm still not a big fan of Barrie, even if he does some things right.

So behind on the second round and later group myself.

Personally I'd be good trading back into the late teens. There is a chance someone like Fabbro, Jones, McAvoy, and a few others could be there looming. Possibly even free falling McLeod. It all depends on what you want. But if we could walk away with Keller and Fabbro/McAvoy/Bean or Chychrun and Jones/McLeod I would be stoked. We're at the stage where building is all about sparking the last few areas to push this over the edge. I realize Fabbro is a RHD. But he's so talented in his own right.

Backes has reminded us of the 2011-2013 seasons of his ability to play tough minutes and really be efficient in all aspects of the game through the playoffs. He's the type of forward any team would love to have, however there are concerns about his type of play breaking down. Giving him 5 years would be very long in the tooth on the down side with the first two seasons possibly being rewarding. Personally, I don't mind if the AAV were slightly higher on shorter term, but I don't see him knocking on Buffalo's door. Stranger things have happened.

I'd rather bring in Goligoski than Campbell. There's nothing wrong with Campbell's style, but I prefer someone with a little more bite in their game. If we're going to commit to an offense only D, then why not just go hard on Yandle.

I've liked Keller for a while, if he's the best player available and if Murray feels his talent/skill and value outweighs that of Chychrun, Juolevi, Sergachev, Nylander and whomever else is on the board. I'm sure you'll see him draft them. At this point, whether it's a forward, defensemen, trading the pick, something interesting will happen when Murray and company are on the draft floor. I want the defensemen, but with how things are leading, I'm good with any of the above if it makes sense.

Man, I cannot read into things well. That was so obvious the second time I read it. LOL! I'm hopeless, just like my wife says.

I don't see Drouin going anywhere any longer. You probably could get Fowler without trading #8, but it would be a heavy price in most cases.
-
Salivates, Landeskog....wow the two way ability! He'd be such a great fit here long term.
-
Shrugs, Tyson Barrie (again a RHD) is a fine enough player, but he's not a legit number one defensemen and for a team to give up what it will take to get him, you're better off going after Shattenkirk. Draft Chychrun, Juolevi or Sergachev, sign Goligoski or Yandle and develop Guhle.

I was originally skeptical of Boeser last season, but man LG, you were right, so I won't doubt you anymore. He was one of my favorite college players to watch this season. Close to only Werenski, Connor and Vesey.

OFF TOPIC OT: Moving the family out of state - destination: Nashville, TN area
Rasmus_ replied to ...'s topic in The Aud Club
My brother lives in Columbia TN, about 45 minutes outside of Nashville. The area is pleasant, the people are nice. The drive is great, the travel gets congested in the peak hours, but things are calm otherwise.- 59 replies

Not bad. He's so much better than Leno.

Agree with your last post dudacek. Tkachuk if he fell would be a no brainer. However thats not likely. Latest he falls is 6, I believe. I love his game, and hes a great net front passer. He is the best fit not named Laine for Eichel. Exactly this. They still lack depth, are tiny and their defense is defintely a nightmare. The Sabres are a year and a half at least ahead of Toronto.

Young team, with ample upside for him to grow with. He easily could come here and only be a short plane trip home.
-
That's laughable. He's a perfect complimentary player like Deslauriers is.

Their prediction thread for the draft pick seemed a bit off. Charlie McAvoy at 8 as well as Bellows are reaches. It's good to have another site to read on though :)

Unrelated but on Hockey Hotline on Monday's edition: Bored at work. Andrew Peters brings up trading for Nash again, am I the only one that thinks this is a terrible idea. Nash is a sunken ship and his contract is supremely weighted. Even if for two seasons. I don't want $12.8M between he and Moulson. Nash is a fine player, but I just don't see him rebounding to the 42 goal plateau gain. Craig Rivet, must be thinking about the 27 year old Rick Nash. I wouldn't give up a strong asset for him. Rolls eyes.

I would say that's more and more likely by the day. Eriksson hits UFA, they lock in a replacement that's 22 into their top six who has a power game. Continues to reform their core long term. ###### Boston! Vesey is a top 6 forward for sure. He has a lot to like about his game. I could see him having an impact like Kevin Hayes did in his first season with the Rags. Though he regressed quickly his second season.
