I might be completely making this up but I remember an article that floated around in his D+1 season talking about how he had the best shot in the draft and was known as the Swedish Stamkos and how if he didn’t play his draft season at 5’6” he would have been a first rounder. I always liked him and had high hopes for him. I hope he signs elsewhere and finds success. He can be a better player than he is and I hope he finds that level.

Nobody should feel better about Terrys involvement in the franchise after this.

That’s great for Jon Cooper, I love his story. Terry already spent multiple hires trying to look like a genius and hire the next big thing. It didn’t work with Housley. It didn’t work with Krueger. It didn’t work with Granato. Everyone wants the next big thing. We don’t have the luxury of that want anymore.

Good post all around, but this especially. Those interviews made it plenty clear he brought little to nothing to the table.

There was never any reason to bring keep Zemgus and I hope to god he’s gone. He’ll be out of the league in two years just like Larsson was.
