  1. Vesey hasn’t been any sort of bad, but he’s been completely invisible. I think part of that is a new team with a new system and an inexperience center, but I think that’s also more or less who Jimmy Vesey is. He’ll score you 15-20 goals, but when he’s not scoring, he’s invisible. He isn’t a liability defensively, but he’s not a standout; he’s isn’t a black hole on offense, but he’s not a standout either. I think if everyone had that expectation of him they would like him a lot more. He’s the kind of guy that makes you say “I forgot that guy was on the team” when he scores because there’s nothing remarkable about him.
  2. Honest question: don’t women go to the doctors at much higher rates than men? Would this not contribute to at more misdiagnoses? Do women have higher rates of early detection of cancer or higher rates of any detection whatsoever? Not sure if anyone has those answer, but I’m curious if so.
  3. Let’s go Nats!!!!!
  4. I think this is a pretty popular opinion now
  5. I love watching Skinner skate ?
  6. RJ reaaaally wanted that Gallagher line
  7. I don’t like how much I like Skinner
  8. He mentioned in a recent interview he bought the team an espresso machine and they go through over 200 capsules a day
  9. Right after Housley?
  10. Really? Not sure if you’re joking or not
  11. They’re looking for VO almost too much. Shoot the puck there, Sam
  12. I have no reason to believe he won’t score the 82 he’s pacing for.
  13. Can’t be bringing rats into the arena. They ought to be removed if the were sneaked in.
  14. He hasn’t had the team success others have, but he’s certainly one of the 15 best to lace them up here.
  15. While I agree, I would say it’s more with in-between players. People will usually expect their borderline guys to rank up rather than down. The guy who *should* be doing more—whether it be stars like Housleys and Eichels, AAAA players, or the Staffords and Roys of the world.
  16. I don’t think the third line has looked as bad as those indicate. Though they’ve gone largely unnoticed on the ice by me, so it’s not too surprising. Eichel has looked the strongest he’s ever looked in his back-checking and d-zone play. I’m surprised to see his line starting that high in the o-zone, I thought it would be closer to 50/50. I also didn’t seem them being that outplayed. I guess you can’t backcheck without losing the puck first.
