Bogo's Skate got stuck in the boards, DD is not sure how bad the injury is.
Curses. Hope it's not too serious. That's what began the downfall of Bure.
-
Don't look now, but our goal differential is even and tonight we scored twice 5 on 5.
Kulikov with almost 28 minutes (looking pretty good doing it). Hope Bogosian returns swiftly.

Starting to come together!
-
Get that bleedin' stopped!
He don't have time to bleed. (wrong movie!)
-
Bailey is quick... Quicker than Franson.
-
Do you remember the Alamo?
Remember the Death Star! And we worked on empty net shots. Our overconfidence is our weakness!
-
Larsson scores against his draft team. Here's where I break out the ol' useless tank-tracker chart....
Pominville + Sekera + Grigorenko => Larsson + O'Reilly + Karabacek + Vesey (if he had signed)
-
I don't think Niederreiter is going to stand up to Foligno
Woooooo!
-
Both teams playing for the loser point. Let's surprise them with a nifty Ennis to Reinhart to Girgs tic-tac-toe. Just because.
-
Several fighters have broken off from the main group. Come with me. We are going for the net.
-
Minny skating better this period.
Much better. But not dominating or making us look bad. Just upped their game. That's good for us. We've got to bring out the best in other teams if we're to improve. No backup goalies. No relaxed games.
Kohler makes a good toilet.
The pride of Wisconsin!
Well... one of them.
-
Hmmm. Bogo sore? I didn't notice that. But that's a problem. Defensive depth is not our organization's strength.
-
That Suter guy. He's still pretty decent.
And this second line is starting to gel and resemble a scoring line.
-
Agreed. That Bailey-Grant-Baptiste line looks good. They'd be downright wizard in Rochester. (Sorry. I'll not say wizard again.)
-
We're getting a good net-front presence in this game. Bodes well for scoring a "dirty" goal or two.
Foligno for a tap-in at some point? Late second period, maybe.
-
Good play by Niederreiter there to get the puck around Risto. I thought Risto was going to easily take it. Sneaky Nino.
-
These two teams look remarkably different from their previous meeting.
-
Alright. Off to the Packers game. Enjoy the victory! Celebrate as would an Ewok.
-
Why does our +/- stink? Because we can't hit an open net when on the PK and we can't skate it up ice when the net is empty. +1 opportunities abounded. Silly stat.
-
Foligno... if you want the empty net, drive forward another few strides. Or just go for broke and drive to their net. Although... nice tackle there to prevent the tap-in.
c'mon! You can't ice the short-handed clear. Sheesh. Should've shot at the net, clearly.
-
Grant has played very well today. Nice PK specialist kind of guy. When everyone is healthy, I think he should play over Des.
He's filling the Legwand skates nicely.
-
What the hell? Thrice!
-
oooooh again. C'mon. Use the Moulson!
-
We do need to stop taking the penalties late in the 3rd when guarding a lead. Baby padawan steps. Oooohl Just missed.

Snarky me says that one time we acquired Timo Helbing and Mikko Lehtonen.
But yes, this group would make a very solid young blueline group. (Don't normally talk video games, but they became absolute monsters in EA NHL2014 GM mode.) In the real world they needed a mix of some veterans around them until they find their stride.
