  1. This new Beatles Get Back documentary/footage that Peter Jackson put together is amazing. No current-day reflection talking head interviews, little-to-no anachronistic stuff (like.... they include the Dehra Dun audio from the Anthology interview, but almost nothing else after a prologue of how they got to where they were in 1969). It's just hours of the functioning of a tired band trying to beat a deadline. Wooohooo, Thompson! Just as they were looking bumbly in their zone, Tage gets flattened, but that leaves him unguarded for the laserblast.
  2. Onward, Toker and the Rasmii -- run the Habs out of the building!
  3. They weren't exactly a powerhouse last year, then they lost a handful of their best and most consistent players. The difference between the average and the bad isn't a huge gap. But a little goaltending goes a long way. Just look at us when we've got Toker/Anderson on his game. vs. Hutton or Dell.
  4. Oh Hayden, bless your Christensen heart on that shot attempt.
  5. Post, post, wide. I knew it! I'm surrounded by Sabres. Keep firing, Sabres! And then... in ours.
  6. Well... Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Maybe not thankful for the team's outcomes and goaltending, but thankful that RaKru is gone and there is a pipeline that's filling and many more 1st/2nd picks to help it fill further.
  7. Having Mitts back. With Olofsson and now Joker, would be nice. But none of it matters if Dell is on the ice.
  8. The sad thing is... once we scored, it was over. No, just an observation. He had heart/grit and a bit of nasty. Bjork is none of those things. Both players fit right in on their newer rosters.
  9. Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis their AHL opponents 17 times in a row.
  10. Yeah. Bjork just didn't fit on their roster. Just as Lazar was misplaced on ours. Same ol' same ol'.
  11. Or break their wrists with a handy uncalled slash, Habs-Gallagher-style.
  12. Now... anyone standing within 5 feet of Toker.... just punish them. And at the whistle, hit them some more. Dare the refs to call something.
  13. As I finished moving that from the incorrect thread McAvoy gets it. Fine. Good player, like him a lot. But good. Let's start something.
  14. There's not a lick of grit. Don't they want to be hard to play against? Don't any of these players want to be fan-favorites? Legends? Forever? Change the culture and all?
  15. I'm not advocating hate in life, but it's time to give in to the hate. And I don't care for the staged fights... But, Hayden, you're on this team to be muscle. You're dressed over Caggiula to be muscle. Go start something. Run someone. Instigate. Get a fine and a misconduct, but change the momentum, change the culture, and wake this team up.
  16. You know, for the last few years now, if Ullmark wasn't playing (for us), it seemed like anytime Boston wanted to turn it on and takeover, they did so at will. And again tonight. And Hutton, now Dell... we've not gotten a save to stop the wave.
  17. Yes, it was either: Why could TB get away with Stamkos being injured every year and trading away JT Miller? It’s because they had Point and Cirelli in the pipeline. (And Yanni Gourde, and Tyler Johnson, and Killorn listed as a C despite playing wing every year.) Or it was: Why could NYI let Tavares go? It’s because they had Barzal and Bailey and Nelson. And a Cizikis anchoring the 4th line, too. Either way, that's quality center depth.
  18. A good period goes awry with a 2 lackluster powerplays.
  19. The Jackets completely outworked the Sabres on that 5-on-3 and ensuing 5-on-4.
  20. Alright... let's get Tager another one. Or any Sabre, really. Let's go!
  21. I always knew Rob Ray was an Ugnaught.
