Actions speak louder than words, and their actions say they're being dishonest. Denying that is silly.

I don't have a problem with being positive, I have a problem with basically anointing McDermott+Beane as the second coming of Bill Belichick when they have done nothing to prove it yet, and made quite a few questionable moves in the process, all the while being, IMO, dishonest with the fan base.

On a related note, I read A Game of Thrones years ago. I decided not to continue with the series until the rest of the books were out because I didn't want to go through the process of waiting after every release. Here we are years later and an entire HBO show has been made (which I plan on saving until after reading the books) and I'm still twiddling my thumbs. But so many things have been spoiled for me that I'm beginning to think I don't even care to read the series either. -

Since my alma mater is irrelevant on the national stage, I pull for USC (Gamecocks, not Trojans). They've got a pretty good, young QB and might surprise some folks. Go Gamecocks.

Getting rid of your #1 WR, not signing your #1 CB, getting rid of your new #1 CB. There's a reason Boldin retired out of the blue. He saw the tank coming. And let me be clear, I don't care if they do tank this year. It appears to be a good year to do it and they can really stack up the team for the future. But call it what it is.

I have seen no evidence of this (that we hit a home run, not that people want to Billieve). And their dishonesty about not tanking this season isn't helping convince me.

So let's see a first string offense that has looked as bad as Buffalo has so far that ended up performing well in the regular season.
