I grabbed Johnson with my first round pick and Bell fell to me in round 2 because of his suspension. Good times.
-
ESPN has Bell and Johnson as #1 and #2 in their PPR rankings for this season. I don't suppose you all will let me have them both again, will you?
-
His TD pass was perfect, but it seemed like most of his throws were a bit behind the receiver.
-
That's like saying Gronk isn't the best TE because he gets hurt every year. That is quite disingenuous. Sammy was unquestionably our #1 WR. No, but our best CB last year left for the champions (and I can't blame him). As for Darby, I don't know anyone who projected White to be our #1 ahead of him. He was a top 10 CB in his rookie year. Sure looks to me like they're trying to start out that way.
-
Trading away our best WR and CB before the season starts just screams tanking, IMO.
-
I have only ever seen the home team lose a game once. That was a Yankees game back in ~2005.

Without having read up on this thread yet: I don't like the trade, unless our intention is to tank the season. Being sellers before the season even starts? Oy.

I'm kind of in the mood for a coming-of-age movie. Anyone have a favorite? -
Prescott had a 118.0 passer rating when not under pressure from the rush, which was good for 3rd in the league behind the two Super Bowl QBs. He may have been behind a great line, but he took advantage of it better than nearly every other QB in the league.

Ali? Phelps? Jordan? Bolt? Ruth? Gretzky might come out on top, but I'm not as convinced as you (though your point still stands). For Bolt in particular (since he's retired from solo sprinting now), this chart says it all. Fastest 100m times, athletes found doping crossed out: https://i.redd.it/smhoyyeeb4ez.jpg

Uh, no? At least not here.

So the Dodgers have won 43 of their last 50 games. The last team to do that was the New York Giants in 1912. Holey moley.

Go Tribe.

Ugh, season 4 introduced Cutthroat Bitch, the worst character in the history of television. -

Yeah, that's why I like to check out the audience score if I'm looking on Rotten Tomatoes as well (which is 85% for Fury Road). If there's a disparity, I tend to feel closer to the audience score than the Tomatometer. (Not that I watch movies very often.) -

I'm just explaining how RT does their tomatometer. It's based on the number of positive reviews (whether they're "this movie is fantastic" or "this movie is decent", it all counts the same) it gets. If you look at the breakdown for Fury Road, 354 out of 366 reviews for Fury Road were positive. 354/366 = 96.7213%, which rounds to 97%. -

Near perfect scores doesn't mean the movie is nearly perfect. It means the movie is nearly universally liked. It could be a movie that no one loved but everyone liked and it would have a nearly perfect score. -
Religion AND politics in the Bills thread. Oy vey.

You picked the one franchise that might have worse fans than the Patriots.

Make sure you have your SS username/passwords stored
JujuFish replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
Add me to the pro password manager list. I can't think of any good reason why someone wouldn't use one. You can store 100 character passwords with random mixes of numbers, letters, and special characters and not have to remember any of it. And you can use a different password for everything, so if your password is hacked somewhere, it's completely useless anywhere else. Speaking of passwords, it's an immediate warning sign when sites limit the length of your password. It's extraordinarily unlikely that a site that limits you to, say, 12 characters, stores your password in a hashed and salted database since there is no benefit for those databases to limit password length. That's not even counting the fact that software running on GPUs can check billions of password guesses per second in an offline attack. -
I'm still in. By beating me in the first championship, True has become my arch nemesis, so I can't let him win it this year. Oh, and 1 QB.
-
Speaking of 1-5, said AL champs are 1-5 in their last 6, including their first 4-game losing streak of the season (they were one of five teams who hadn't suffered such a streak at the All-Star break). D'oh!
-
I should walk off into retirement as there's nowhere to go but down.

Hahahaha, someone got a bit defensive. You started the smack talk wit the Astros, I'm just pointing out their failures against the Tribe. :P
