  1. Can't change the past. Learn from the mistakes and move on. Right the ship against the Jets and full steam ahead with a home game against the Patriots. Both of these are must wins, IMO, and could result in a commanding lead in the division. The Pats have the 9ers and us; the Dolphins have the Rams and Cardinals. If we win both our games, we might have a 3-4 game lead in the division *before* accounting for the head-to-head wins.
  2. Mahomes has yet to be sacked on the blitz this year, FWIW
  3. He's always had that problem.
  4. The Broncos took care of business in New England, so we'll keep pace in the division in the worst case. That said, a win over the defending champs would be great for both playoff hopes in general as well as tie-breaking procedures come playoff time.
  5. How did what turn out? Going to bed? I'd say pretty good.
  6. Hate to see it, but that was a very nice return.
  7. Go to bed.
  8. They gave up the 7th fewest points in 2018. Oh, and they held the Rams, the #2 offense in the league in both yards and points, to 3 in the Super Bowl. Do you really think they had the 18th best defense in the league?
  9. Brady has never won a Super Bowl without a top 10 D.
  10. The Raiders had several key injuries and still marched up and down the field. If you don't think there's a problem, I don't know what to tell you.
  11. Legit entertaining, but until this defense gets it together, not a real playoff threat
  12. A slow shootout, since both teams are eating up lots of clock on each drive.
  13. If a player gets 2 scores for one week, I'd say the best option is using the average of those two scores.
  14. Oh, and tangentially related, I think any team that can't play due to COVID outbreaks should have to forfeit. No rescheduling. Consequences.
  15. I don't know why you should do anything. It's like taking a risk when a player is questionable to play. You make a decision to keep him in or bench him. Maybe you're right, maybe not.
  16. It's been a very long time since I've been as upset at a Bills game as I was after that completely botched interception call. So glad they pulled out the win. Allen went 24/33 for 4 TDs, 1 INT, and added 8 rushing yards and a TD and a fumble on the ground.
  17. Well, the offense did, anyway. Allen looked like he was playing IRL Madden on those last two drives. 417 yards, 4 TDs for Allen. 147 rating. The last time we had a QB throw 300 in back-to-back games was Bledsoe in 2002.
  18. Allen really needs to fix his footwork when scrambling to the left.
  19. Hope you didn't listen to me. I'm eliminated already and the Ravens destroyed the Browns, haha.
  20. I really tried to get my mom to watch this. She never liked Mad Max but Fury Road was so much better (IMO) than any of the other films. I was never big on the Mad Max films myself until Fury Road.
  21. I hate the fact that you have to choose before the Thursday night game.
  22. I was too afraid to pick them, because I think Baltimore is overrated and you never know with divisional games.
  23. I'll join, keep up with it for a few weeks, then forget to get my pick done in time. Like clockwork.
  24. Sad thing about starting a new league is you won't have the league history (I'm definitely not biased as someone who went to the championship all 5 years I played :P)
