As I've said COHO was worth the trade, but cup winners have 5 Kassains and/or guys like Foligno. Again DR came real late to the party when it comes to today's NHL. I would have love to have Kassian and Foligno on the team along with the real centers DR also acquired in the draft. OOps, he didn't draft any.

And it wasn't a jumbotron takiing over the TO's, nor a love fest geared toward children in the crowd. You really can't compare that building and the fans to today. Totally different culture back then. I grew up in that building and loved the ramps. My couisen and I played cup hockey. My dad showed me the bathroom in the basement where the cars parked and the Zamboni dumped the ice. It was always empty. Pop machine was right there if you wanted to get a can. MY 22 y/o remembers me taking him down there and still has his wooden mini-stick collection of all teams, They were $5/stick. It was a great place to watch hockey.

LPF I've been where you are. Much older, and my son played hockey to a point where he sees several NHL players he played against in midget natioanls playing in todays NHL. Injuries cut his game short., . He knows and sees a ton more than me, despite me watching a ton of amateur hockey. His opinion: we are not good. AND, he's right!

Why? If you are hockey fan, there are many good teams and games to watch. Sorry if you thought DR and LR had a clue.

Don't want be politically incorrect, buI have seen Darcy up close and personal while walking the dog. He looks softer up close and personal than the guys he drafts. And this is one soft team. LIndy lives in my safe community also. His house costs a ton more than DR's. Whats that mean? WTF knows. But, they are both way tooooooooooo safe. How many GM's and coaches get to raise kids in the same house for this long?

Maybe we should hire Mario Richer of the Graz 99ers to replace Lindy.

I vote no. Bad plus minus on what has always been a defense first teams tells me he's washed up. If they waived him, maybe and we could always waive him if it doesn't work out. I wouldn't trade anything for him.

You can park on Exchange St just east of Amtrak station for free. There is a lot there for $8.00. Walk up to Washington and straight down to Arena. You'll see scalpers almost as soon as you turn onto Washington.

I have to ask this cuz I always wonder when this comes up? Do you own tickets? Not being confrontational, just curious as to one's perspective. My pair cost me $120/ game and I'd give them away before I wasted them.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. WE ended up at Lemoncello Italian Restaurant on on Commercial St. in East Rochester. One of her co-workers recommended it and it was excellant.
