  1. DTM About Heart @DTMAboutHeart The most negative defenseman last year according to even-strength Goals Above Replacement? Rasmus Ristolainen
  2. What does his brother have to do with this? I do understand they have the same genes and were brought up in a similar environment but they're still completely different. The Great One had an NHL brother, too.
  3. They're placed here purely for revenue purposes. They want to keep them with the traditional strong hockey markets. (I'm sure you know this and I'm sure that's not a good enough excuse for you haha)
  4. I don't know if it has been posted but the attorney for Bottom's Up says Kane absolutely was NOT trespassing at any point that night. If a bouncer asked him to leave and he refused he indeed WAS trespassing, but the members of law here would have to be the ones to clarify what this could mean.
  5. They won't but if they did I would immediately begin rooting against them until he's off the roster.
  6. It's not the only charge he is facing, it's just the only charge he would be arrested on. Other charges are tickets. I don't know which mod decided drinking and modding was a good idea, but here's what's going on this morning: Buff News: Buffalo News: BREAKING: #Sabres forward Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor criminal trespass charge in bar incident
  7. I wonder if Anaheim would give us Fowler's toilet water for him Link to photo of him turning himself in: https://twitter.com/AaronBesecker/status/756509264827576320
  8. The trespassing is because he refused to leave after the bouncer told him to.
  9. Buffalo News: BREAKING: #Sabres forward Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor criminal trespass charge in bar incident
  10. Ashley Rowe (WKBW): BREAKING: I have learned Sabres Forward Evander Kane has been arrested by Buffalo Police. No further details at this time. @WKBW If this is related to the previous incident we can obviously merge threads.
  11. Tampa - the contract management has been brilliant Florida - a lot of changes after one of the best seasons in team history but they added a ton of talent Buffalo - Okposo at a decent rate, Kulikov adds a new dynamic to the top four Detroit - I forgot them in my original rankings but I like what they did considering the loss of Datsyuk. They did a good job trying to replace him. Didn't add defense, though. Ottawa - I really like Derick Brassard. Great pickup there. Boston - Backes will be a good short-term addition (bad deal long-term) Toronto - didn't blow their money on bad veterans (so far) Montreal - Short term the Weber deal won't be bad but in time they'll regret it.
  12. Bought my first car* on Wednesday. The process was very smooth and I got an incredible rate. Very excited about the upgrade. So far it's smooth and I'm very excited to make it mine. A 2014 Jeep Compass with very low mileage. *first car because my real first car was the car I drove until Wednesday and purchased for pennies on the dollar from my mother.
  13. Those tickets are too cheap for me, sorry.
  14. You're not Bob Barker.
  15. Me looking at this thread
  16. Probably a make-good deal most of the time. It's better for the relationship if you shake hands with your GM/player as opposed to shaking hands with an arbiter.
  17. Correct. His ELC won't activate in Rochester until he's 20. The slide can occur twice for him because he was 18 on September 15th of his signing year. His cap hit will actually go down if he does indeed slide his deal because signing bonuses are still issued regardless of AHL vs NHL.
  18. If the Sabres don't want him in Juniors he won't be in Juniors. They can either keep him in Rochester or they could, in theory, tell his Euro team they will send him back there under the condition that they won't loan him to juniors again.
  19. I said $1.2 million. If this were the Price is Right I would win the showcase for not going over.
  20. Tim Wharnsby @TimWharnsby #Avs Mikhail Grigorenko has settled and avoided salary arbitration with a one-year deal worth $1.3-million.
  21. He can play a full season in the AHL for two straight seasons without counting a single year on his ELC. The nine games still applies.
  22. He had a decent season (at best) but should've been far better considering he was given big opportunities with elite forwards in Colorado. I think he's worth around $1.2 million on a one-year deal. If he doesn't take a step forward then you may just cut bait and let somebody else pay him that.
  23. The useful Grigo info from Tim Wharnsby on Twitter: Salary arbitration numbers for #Avs Mikhail Grigorenko Club offer: 2016-17: $950,000 Player asking: 2016-17: $1.65m
  24. Dmitry Kulikov will score the Sabres first goal of the season
  25. Woah New York Rangers @NYRangers OFFICIAL: #NYR have acquired Mika Zibanejad & a 2018 2nd rd pick from OTT for Derick Brassard & a 2018 7th rd pick. pic.twitter.com/RjkiVAagpy
