Jeremy White continues to know nothing but also $7M is right where Skinner should be. He’s not in Mark Stone’s stratosphere on the ice so $8.5M is far too rich.

We could offer all of that and still not get Draisaitl alone

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

The first episode of the new Twilight Zone with Jordan Peele is on YouTube and BOYYYY it’s good -
He talks in this how much he loves buffalo and how much he loved the city and the fans loved him.

It amazes me there are adults who found Brady’s “joke” funny.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/spittin-chiclets/id1112425552?mt=2&i=1000433265842 Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney run this podcast. Barnaby went on there and had some interesting stories about his come up to the NHL, his first practice with the Sabres where he gets essentially told he’s a plug and some Hasek hate. His interview starts 28 minutes in.

TBD I haven’t made it out of the upside down yet. Spoiler alert: the Sabres are bad here, too. Separately: just watched the first episode of the FX What We Do In the Shadows series. Not bad. It’s got Matt Berry from IT Crowd in it. Very similar humor to the movie. Highly recommend the movie if you’re into some British humor. -
Honestly forgot about Danny White. Looking at the recent track record of AD’s leaving WNY schools is very impressive. Danny White went to UCF in 2015. Football went 31-8 in the time since he’s been there including back-to-back undefeated seasons under two different coaches hired by White. UCF basketball just went to its first-ever NCAA tournament and should’ve won against Duke - under a coach hired by White. Allen Greene went to Auburn who has a basketball team on the brink of its second elite 8 ever. Already in the first sweet 16 since 2003. Steve Watson left Bonas for Loyola Chicago. They made one of the most unlikely Final Four runs in history last year and had one of the most marketable small programs last year. They hadn’t made the tournament since 1985. Watson is legitimately a top five person I’ve ever met, gotten to know and worked with. Honored to know that man.

This is fair. I do believe they would’ve been bad at best if Oats stays. Back in “win the conference or the season ends” mode for the foreseeable future. And he can’t afford that. Not in chasing big jobs. This was the right move for him and the right move for the university (which is getting a very good chunk of change).
-
That’s a fantastic spot for the program. UB being good is entertaining because they get a ton of support from the media in Buffalo. It’s annoying seeing them completely ignored otherwise. I’d like to see football get to a consistently solid place, too.

Not sure if you’re a new or old poster but you’ll quickly learn weak trash like this doesn’t fly here

It’s the MAC so I wouldn’t be surprised if they competed in conference but you can still be terrible and compete in that conference.
-
Of note: the current athletic director at UB did not hire either Hurley or Oates. It was the Allen Greene who is at Auburn now. They aren’t going to get the recruit. He already has an offer from Oats at Bama. He’s not coming to UB after that. And there’s a decent chance some of the current players transfer out. I’ve been paying plenty of attention. If they’re not terrible they’re certainly not going to be notably good.
-
I mean this LITERALLY: there was an absolute ZERO percent chance he was staying. No chance. They’re going to be terrible next season and his chances at a big job would disappear. It’s awesome what he and Hurley did for UB. Their first four NCAA appearances. And he coached what is probably the best men’s college basketball team WNY has seen in decades. There’s nothing wrong with him leaving BUT changing his twitter that quickly and not addressing it with a statement or anything at all towards fans, the university and the players he is leaving behind is a little weak.

This was what I was getting at earlier. Infinity War put everything in a very dark place so getting inspired feels weird. -
Case closed.

I’d put it up above the first Thor. It was damn good but it’s just below the recent run of great Marvel movies (Ragnarok and Infinity War). The moment she stands up (not really a spoiler) gave me more goosebumps than any moment in the MCU. -
He signed with the Cardinals a couple days after we cut him Yes

Key & Peele was legendary. I’m sure you’re aware of it and mean movies but I wish that show was still going. -
To be fair, there are conflicting reports on the payout. But regardless, the sense I’ve heard from a lot of the legal analysts on this was regardless of whether or not the NFL thought they were guilty they simply couldn’t afford to risk going into discovery and having that much dirty laundry made public.

Went and saw ‘Us’ last night. It’s definitely a unique horror film in many ways. I’ve got my thoughts on what it all means but I’ll let people watch it first then talk a bit more. Jordan Peele is brilliant.
