  1. Hogan had 27 catches for 482 yards and 3 TDs in 12 games playing with Tom Brady. Goodwin had 29 catches for 431 yards and 3 TDs in 15 games playing with Tyrod Taylor. Lamenting the loss of Chris Hogan is such a Bills fan thing to do. Oh, and the genius decided it was a good idea to cut Terrelle Pryor, who is 3x the player Chris Hogan is. Patriot Way baby!!!
  2. Perfect opportunity for Murray to resuscitate his ZFG reputation!
  3. I hate you. He's still totally getting fired though.
  4. This is easy for me: whatever it takes to fire Bylsma. I honestly and truly don't think this team will ever advance from the 2nd round with Bylsma as coach. I know I'll get shouted down for this and I just don't care. Julien is a mammoth upgrade from Bylsma. See, fancystats people can get along with blood and guts people! Claude Julien has a much larger sac than Dan Bylsma! And we all know you need a large sac for playoff success. Keeping Bylsma is functionally equivalent to not wanting to win a Cup. *ducks*
  5. Getting Julien would be an absolute coup. Boston, with a "not talented enough" roster is sitting at #1 in the league in score-adjusted CF% at 55.78, a full two percentage points above 2nd place. GO TO HELL I WANT HIM HERE!
  6. Well, Okposo is a 20-25 goal 65 point player, and he got $6M x7. Kane's current contract is probably about right, if maybe a little (250-500k) high...but yea, I expect he's looking for a raise.
  7. The Steelers are trying a radical new strategy to beat the Pats: let his WRs run wide open and dare him to complete the passes.
  8. He is, IMO. The whole Matt Ryan part of the equation, on the other hand...
  9. As long as Kane is stapled to the 3rd line, accepting of being stapled there, and willing to be paid commensurate with a 20-25 goal, 45 point player...I'm fine with keeping him long term. But I suspect at least one of those things is not going to hold.
  10. Not even Aaron Rodgers can overcome this. Green Bay's defense is an abomination, and their OL hasn't been much better this game.
  11. This has been true every year beyond his rookie season. Yet, he always ends up with only 20-25. Why? Because he misses ~15 games every single year.
  12. Indeed. Pretty sure I didn't include the point for the OTL. Whoops  Still have to be better ;)
  13. 60% points percentage. They need to be 66.7% the rest of the way to get to ~95 and have a real shot.
  14. Hey! I was pretending to have a life and went out for the game. It's good to pretend once in awhile! ...Sorta like people pretending we're still in the playoff race :nana:
  15. Trade Gorges for Karlsson. Hey, you never said the one move had to be realistic. Really though, it's Bylsma. No other (realistic) move has the impact potential of a significant coaching upgrade.
  16. I heard it, and that's exactly what he said. Of course, it's Hamilton, so depending on how you feel about him... Anyway, Eichel also possibly tossed a little shade the other day, saying one of the things that he likes about playing with Reinhart is if he passes the puck he knows he'll get it back. Of course, he could just as easily have been referencing Foligno consistently passing it into his skates
  17. I don't care that it's not a movie: Game of Thrones. Every time you think something good is happening, three awful things quickly follow.
  18. They have a lot of forward talent, but that blue line after Hedman and Stralman is a mess.
  19. Nah, jumping up on the rush like that is the one thing he does well! He should do it more! Maybe you've been hacked.
  20. In other news, the Colts have fired GM Ryan Grigson. Legitimately no clue what took so long.
  21. Really don't think this is true, as it also the time that QB prospects get over-analyzed to death and next year's class becomes better than this year's class. I don't think this year is Winston/Mariota good, but I like all of Kizer, Watson, and Mahomes more than Goff and Wentz.
  22. If we go into the draft with our QB depth chart as Jones-____-____ we almost have to take a QB there, I think. No, but I don't anticipate Kizer still being around at 10. I had hoped he would be based upon an uneven season, but it's looking like he'll be the top QB selected anyway. Kizer > Mahomes > Watson > Trubisky is my preference.
  23. I'd take Mahomes at 10.
  24. The article that sold me on Pat Mahomes: http://www.qbmecca.com/patrick-mahomes/
  25. I was gonna go with a left handed Franson, but slower Bogo works for me.
