See, most would have him instead of Bergy at 10 ;)Uhhhh......where's kassian?
(I kid I kid!!!!!!)
how come?Malkin is not even in the top 5 for me
-
:P Personal favorite, for sure, should put an asterisk for a bias warningYou're the only one that will list Marc-Andre Bergeron in your top ten list, trust me.
/sarcasm

first making a pool; Stamkos, Crosby, Malkin, Datsyuk, Toews, Kane, Tavares, Weber, Karlsson, Seguin, Benn, Getzlaf, Perry, Sedins, Pietrangelo, Keith, Bergeron, Giroux, Kopitar, Doughty, Kassian, Kessel, Duchene, Landeskog, Staal, Ovechkin, Pavelski (Just trying not to miss anyone)What's everybody's top 5 (or 10 if you're feeling it) skaters?
For me:
1. Crosby
2. Malkin
3. Stamkos
4. Weber
5. Ovechkin
6. Getzlaf
7. Datsyuk
8. Toews
9. Tavares
10. Suter
That's a bit of a quick list.
1.Crosby
2.Geno
3.Toews
4.Stamkos
5.Getzlaf
6.Weber
7.Tavares
8.Datsyuk
9.Kane
10.Bergeron

I really like Stamkos too, and think he's a better player, but I think Getzlaf's playoff experience would have me pick him over Stamkos assuming I could field a cup-competitive team right away.I'd put Stamkos ahead of all of them.
I'd but Weber in there somewhere.
Weber is the best defenseman I've ever watched (yes, I am very young and recognize that)
-
And are these three pretty much consensus top 3 following Crosby and Geno? or would Toews come ahead of some/all?Stamkos, Getzlaf, Tavares.
-
How would people order Tavares, Stamkos, and Getzlaf?
-
Would Chicago be able to sign both Toews AND Kane with relative ease? And, do they plan on it?
I would imagine based on the respect the organization has they are more than competent enough to do so, just wondering if anyone has input or specifics

They called it in the CB/PIT game last night, was almost a replica play.I don't understand how Boychuk is allowed to dump Abdelkader there when he doesn't have the puck. I understand that they're allowed to "battle" for it, but that wasn't a battle, that was a hit. It's interference.
But this is the playoffs.

43, Because Marty Biron. Always will be my first choice.
I actually hate the 30s. especially 30 itself. No real reason, but I used to play goal and it bothered me that all of my favorite goalies were so uniform.
90s are cool to wear, except, as mentioned above, 99.

PA, did your avatar picture actually happen? That's really funny.Hope the chef likes you. I'm just sayin'.

Pierre McGuire said something that had me spit water out of my nose, last night. And I can't remember it for the life of me. It was blatantly sexual, as usual

That's higher than the 25% chance they have, too. So, looks like we'll be picking second to help that number return to the norm :unsure:In the 19 years the NHL has used the lottery system to determine the team that get's the #1 pick, only 6 times has the team that finished with the worst record picked first. "Tank on".
-
I believe it, I just got 14 straight non-Buffalo victories, most of them being florida/islanders, with TWO phoenix sprinkled in.\
I swear I just did it. I got Buffalo on the 23rd try. I got Edmonton and Calgary a ton.
-
I had filled and saved a bracket yesterday, and when I signed in it automatically made that my picks for this league so I didn't have to redo it, and had the same outcome. The look of the series with the iconic sweaters would be amazing.I have Chicago beating Montreal.
-
First and second, if the Islanders win the lottery and give us the pick.So the Sabres can have the first overall pick, the second overall pick, the first and fifth picks, the second and fifth picks or the second and sixth overall picks. Any other scenarios missing?
hehehe.

If we're in the kidnapping mood with Leino, might as well get two birds with one stone...@SabresProspects McDavid at the Sabres game, #2015sabresprize

It's been, uh, fun  everyone. But seriously, these threads and the others have kept me very entertained while the team has not been able to do so, and thank you all, and you're all wonderful. Even though I don't post that often, I read every day and look forward to an eventful offseason, where the Islanders defer so we can rely on their pick to tank while we put an entertaining team out on the ice next year!! (please oh please I hope this is the case)

Heard that too, I assume he meant Ristolainen?Rasmussen? Cmon RJ lol
F%&$ the Chowdaheads!!

Peppy hasn't been around with an April calendar, and I need to devise something for my computer backgrounds during the long offseason months ahead :'(

Careful what you wish for.I should have his affliction. Maybe I could pay my bills at least.
Sounds perceptive to me about the depression. A player in his situation has got to be very unhappy. He's got to be sorry he ever agreed to Pegula's offer.
Or, maybe it's bigger than hockey.
-
It seems to me, this may be the case, though of course we're no doctors, nor close friends. Still troubling to imagine. So it looks like he's back after dizziness/migraines/difficulty focusing....
I seriously wonder if he is dealing with depression issues.
Not everyone worships money...sometimes the poorest in spirit are the richest in wealth. I hope the guy is alright.I bet getting paid like 10 million plus dollars this off season will perk his spirits up.....

Absolutely, the one was older and was a total condescending prick :PDid you stop talking to them immediately? I would have.
But he'll never hear the end of that one

Three people in my friend group in seventh or eighth grade, whenever it was, bought Bernier jerseys after the first night, that was great.
