Any estimate on how many people were there?Just got home from the game. I'd like to fill you in with the details, but spent more time getting caught up with old friends versus watching the game closely. Except for the first 10 minutes where the Sabres had some good pressure, and when the 2 goals were scored, the game was pretty boring.
That's all I've got!
...Actually I forgot one thing. The construction workers were still out there at 10PM working on HarborCenter.

Samson also had a couple passes I haven't seen here for a few years, to open ice that seemed to nobody at first but had someone skate into a second later.

Love this. Count me in. :beer:Many people are going to be surprised when this team makes the playoffs. Good goal-tending, a veteran defense corp and a mix of high-end rookie talent and veterans gives hope going into the 2014 season. It all depends on veterans staying healthy and a certain 2nd overall pick playing like the most talented player on the draft.
They may not be the most talented team in the Conference, if you take a close look at the roster, they have enough talent in the right positions to have an effective power play and an effective penalty kill. Specialty teams in hockey are equivalent to a running game in football. Run and stop the run effectively and you will always be in the game. Same with specialty units in hockey. Take advantage of your opportunities and keep opponents teams power play off the board and you will be in a lot of games.
It's not as crazy as it may sound considering the year they just came off of.

This is correct, I've already started a Live the Life on old gen, and it is exactly the same, and you CAN simulate to your next shift.I dont have the old gen one. But my understanding is everything in nhl 14 is in nhl 15 for old gen. You are basically paying for a roster ypdate and new tuner sets

See this works for me: I get odd numbers, so my most recent is NHL 13. Had I owned 14, I wouldn't have botheredThey updated the computer AI and the puck physics a little bit, and the ratings progression system in gm mode (young players get better the more you play them). But yea it's basically NHL 14 with new rosters and that's it. No broken or missing features

Alright, thanks a bunch! Heading out now to get it, actually :Peverything that was in nhl 14 for the 360ps3 is in nhl 15 for the 360/ps3. So GM mode still has drafting, etc.

Were those issues, specifically drafting in Be a GM, or simulating until your next shift in Be a Pro, unique to the PS4 and Xbox One versions? Or do they exist in the PS3/Xbox360 NHL 15s as well? And if so, should I hold off on buying them until they are fixed, or can you buy them and have them fixed on the PS3? (I don't know how that stuff works :P )Right!?
The dev team announced that there will be patches post-launch to fix a lot of the issues. The draft in GM mode will be added in September. Three stars, HUT fixes and more. I don't have a link here at work but it had me feeling encouraged and ready to buy again.

I'm not purchasing a PS4 yet, and if I had NHL 14 I would just keep that and not bother paying for 15 because it appears to be the same thing as 14 on PS3/360 except with correct rosters, Samson, and different announcers. I do not have it though, because I generally purchase the odd-numbers, so I will be grabbing NHL 15 because I'm tired of seeing the Dallas Stars in their old jerseys minus Tyler Seguin, Luke Adam tearing it up with Ville Leino and Nathan Gerbe for Buffalo, and things of that nature.

I would think that since we last saw him play, there already might be a bit of a difference right? He won't be fully mature obviously but by the time the season starts he'll have had three months, which can produce some real results.If he isn't physically ready from the time he's already spent in the WHL then he should probably get some time with an NHL training program.

Does a generational player need to have 'generational talent'? Because if so I couldn't see Toews, who is very talented nonetheless, ever qualify for that no matter how many cup wins he has. Crosby does have a talent level notably higher than everyone else in the 'elite' category so I do agree that he is the one and only qualified player right now.Crosby is the only player you can use this term on currently. Maybe toews if he leads teams to another 2 cups can be meantioned.
