Alex Meruelo bought the Coyotes for 350 Million five years ago and will get one billion for them. The Coyotes were not paying for their hotel rooms, so the host hotels for visiting teams around the league got together and demanded cashier checks from the team prior to their arrival

They are front runner for the 2034 Winter Olympics, I imagine a new joint use arena for the Jazz and NHL Team will be build soon

FWIW a lot of analytics staffs are moving away from NHLe as it has not been translating well across the various leagues
