There is no way the game should have been close. That said, gut check win with an exciting goal line last stand. If the Giants had 5 more seconds ... yikes !! Something was off with Josh last night. The game plan was not the usual game plan.

They do not always miss the playoffs - 12 years is not always. All of those years due to the short sightedness of management as to the very risky results of deciding to ________ for what's his name. Last year they missed by 1 game. That is pretty fine compared to the recent past. The Sabres will be right there again this season. I believe they will make it inspite of losing their first 2 games.

He will stay with the team, unless something drastically changes. Him being in the lineup makes the chances of them winning better. That's the bottom line.

GAME ON !! MUST WIN !! GO SABRES !! I have no feelings for the Islanders. They are not on the same scale as the dastardly duo. The Sabres have to be able to win games against the Islanders - a pretty good team that will likely be challenging for playoff spots with the likes of the Sabres, Senators and Red Wings.

That's true, but I was also taught that it's when you are over hyped for a certain game that it traps the players into over thinking and not just playing their game. Whatever you want to call it .. the Sabres (every one of them, including the coaches) were playing pentatively and over thinking everything.

The whole team was like that. I posted that this was a trap game due to it.
