For me the time involved seems much less now that I am older. When I was a kid and watching the French Connection it seemed like they were together forever. In reality the Connection was only together from 1972 until 1979 when Robert was traded by Scotty. I think 2 years later Martin was traded by Scotty.

Not sure. We may have a replacement for Miller in UPL / Levi, but it's too early to tell. We have to draft a goalie in a reasonable round each year, I think. As @IKnowPhysics pointed out (I have no idea what his fancy stat stuff means, but he explains it all in clear words too) we have to develop more scoring too.

Currently, I'm not sure defense is a weakness. With many good looking (😎) D prospects coming along I want the draft focus to be at F and G. Take a goalie dammit.
