I'm not about to go down the rabbit hole. My take.
There was a fire sale. Now It is a bad roster with a coach of limited abilities. The strengths of the Organization are in picks and prospects and hopefully a GM with some ability and a plan, and an owner willing to spend when winning has meaning again.
That simple.
I'm not disappointed in Samson. He's a smart player, and probably picked up a ton on this visit. .
Right move sending him back to Junior, he'll get to measure his progress as a player at the World Juniors in 7 weeks. Bulk up. Etc.
The guy was still playing at 44. He's been dead for 40 years and continues to build coffee shops. I'm not taking his Jersey down.....that curse would last, ######, Im not sure how long.
I was wondering something like that. They seem to explode at the top of his shot.
that could have been bad.
not sure, but we will see-a-plenty of shotson these boys to find out.
I don't know what it is.....and it almost sounds scriptural....but Stewart towing up with Lucic covers a multitude of sins.
The Chara-less Bruins certainly have a different profile. But I can say that this wasn't the ugliest we got outshot by 20 game I've seen.
Actually didn't think that the D played all that badly. Myers and Jorges.
Like Labatt.....Myers icing play around 3:30 had me choking on a little bit of whatever I ate before the game.. not a pizza log though.
I'm saying his handling has been inconsistent, Highly publicized move to wing.......then the disclosure he's not expected to play defense........then he's told he's going to play center......then back to wing. Last 4 games paired with Torrey Mitchell with a lack of results. (was anyone expecting any?)
It seems to me that Foligno/Hodgson/Stewart were at least getting some shots.
Only this, there is enough blame shmere for the entire bagel.
A thought came to mind....Vanek was 21-22 in his first NHL Season.
Grigorenko is still 20. He's in the right place. No need to rush him into this trainwreck.
