I've said a few times that I'm just as excited about Samson. Finally having a 1-2-3 punch down the middle will help me sleep at night. The prospect of finally watching a team get better with time just has me in a good mood. I'm not going to get crazy with expectations, but the pieces are finally here.

He's much better than Needstoretire. Who knows, sometimes the vets get healthy in an offseason and can add a lot. Legwand is a smart player.

I think that is accurate. Don't ask him to skate first pair, but if he is chewing up big minutes in the bottom pairings that just might give this team a fighting chance.

I don't like expansion. I used to know every player in the league back in the day. Adding another 40+ players to the league will make me feel old. And I'm against feeling old.

What if Jack doesn't pick an Integer? Is there a league rule against using Pi? Hell, I'd buy the Eichel Pi jersey.

I expect this year to be FUN. that's all. Just a lot more fun.

Armia without the puck is the thing. He's got a terrific shot, but struggles to see, and find the space - from what I've seen. It could all click in for him - or just as easily it might not.

But if he's playing half the season in the WPG year two.....that's a good deal.
