    Florida is a pretty impressive team IMO. They have size, speed, depth. They are just trying to split the Buffalo D and they are doing it. That's a worry.

    It doesn't bore me. I just don't get it really. More than once you seem to be offended by the idea that he has more than one interest. (I think you insisted that the Harbor Center thread be labeled OT) So I'm puzzled by this purity of purpose idea that you keep on about, and I ask you, why can't they be all? And why is it burning :)?

    I don't think there is any way that Darcy would have pulled the trigger on any of the Kane/Bogo, Lehner, and O'Reilly/McGinn trades.

    Me too. I see a player strong on the puck, getting it deep, and creating traffic. Granted I've been watching McGinn more closely, but McGinn would be a road scratch in my opinion. Keep Larsson in to counter mismatches on the ice.

    I guess I don't get the recurrence of this theme. It's as if the motivations for Pegula's purchase of a hockey team is a matter of moral rectitude or religious purity. Or if by wanting one thing (a cup), it precludes other things (a Buffalo Renaissance). Why not both? Why not all? Why not a cup, a superbowl, a downtown stadium, a home for US hockey, and a National Cheerios Museum. Why not all? Not one diminishes the other. Why are we exploring this? I thought it played out.
