Not sure on Elmira - A goalie I would presume.... I'm not sure on the CHL rules.....but should The CHL season end....I don't think there is any reason why the junior players can't join Elmira for Kelly Cup should Rochester be crowded.
Enjoyed reading all your thoughts. I wasn't disappointed in Samson at all. Everyone tried to put a body on him, and whenever he had the puck he seemed to draw two players to himself and made smart passes to open spots. He's going to be fine playmaker. But I think this brings up a good point in that anyone expecting high end flashiness from Samson isn't really going to see it. His game is Judo - he will take what is given, let the defender commit first, and use your weight against you.
Zadorov
I'll have years to screw it up.
@HF Armia had some nice open ice moves. Not much else of note. Had his head up, looks like he got to full speed quickly.
Period 3 Notes:
Baptiste nice speed. Tricky wrister he has.
Risto stands out. Especially in the O zone.
Grigo is impressive on the puck, he just lacks,....hmmmm not sure yet.
Zadoroff comes as advertised.
I'm happiest with Carrier.
I'd be happy to see what Samuel-T does in Rochester.
The game might be too fast for Florentino.
Reinhart does a nice job seeing the extra seconds. Love how he patiently flips the puck to the negative space for teammates.
Nice hockey fix for mid-July.
Period 2 Notes: Play pretty sloppy
Love how Risto sets up his shot away from the puck.
Pecararo is a nice little player, takes what's given to him.
Carrier with a nifty toe drag.
Good on Kea for standing up for the period 1 shot on him.
Lemieux chirps as advertised.
Catenacci seems a step ahead of his line.
Cornell had a nice period on the boards.
Man J Sam-T looks big.
Notes: Period 1
Bailey looks fast.
Carrier strong on puck.
Fasching is too.
Zemgus is Zemgus.
You notice when Lemieux is on the ice.
Reinhart can pass.
Didn't notice Cornel-Compher-Baptiste line.
Sometimes it is all about development
If McCabe makes the show, it might only mean he is closer to his ceiling and won't benefit as much from AHL ice time. The nice thing about the reboot is nobody needs to be rushed.
Darcy was a very good drafter from the perspective of finding NHL players.

Finding elite talent. Who knows. Keep in mind that 2013 was Darcy's draft too.
Dalpe doesn't play with much size - so really if you sing that Sesame Street song.....one of these things is not like the other.....all the kids yell Dalpe at the end.
