  1. He did end the regular season on fire though which was great to see
  2. Hehe it's all downhill from there!
  3. Dude, his ex got murdered. He is going to get questioned. If yours did, you would get questioned. It is what it is. Even if he 100% innocent, then he would have been questioned. Stop acting like getting questioned makes you guilty or its something that has never happened you as if you have control over it. I get your side that the bills should proceed with caution and not sign him. That's fine. I just don't get you judging favs who see it as he hasn't done anything wrong yet and was only questioned. Agree to disagree lol The police said he isn't a person of interest right now
  4. I guess I just disagree. There is nothing to suggest he is a potential murderer at this point. Again, getting questioned (every boyfriend and ex boyfriend would and will get questioned) doesn't due it for me.
  5. His only association with the murder is he was questioned because it was his ex girlfriend. No actions or conduct by him led him to being questioned. You are really going to argue with a straight face that if your ex was murdered, and you were questioned (100%), then you are a potential murderer and people that hire you are associating themselves with potential murderers? You are usually pretty on with stuff, but I think you are way off on this. All he did was get questioned. He is co-operating with police, has a sound alibi, and isn't a suspect. I just don't get it. You really want to punish someone because their ex was murdered?
  6. who is mad at the cowboys for greg hardy?
  7. I have sources that Watkins tossed Goodwin as a weapon.
  8. I'm not sure if whiskey was trying to say this, but Iv seen plenty of victim blaming in rape if the woman doesn't stand up and physically resist during the rape attempt. In fact traditionally it's not rape unless they do stand up and resist.
  9. But why assume otherwise and punish someone for it? I hope everyone realizes by his ex getting murdered and him getting questioned, he has already been punished millions of dollars for something he may not have done. Let that sink in. Now let it sink in that some people still don't want nfl teams to sign him to a low risk contract and continue to punish him. It's a double murder, should he continue to be punished until someone is convicted in years?
  10. Again he got questioned for the murder of someone he had relations with. If a girl anyone here dated got murdered, you would 100 percent get questioned. I hope if something like that would happen to me, the court of public opinion wouldn't find anyone talking to me in an employment setting troubling...nor blame the employer for hiring me if it turns out I did it.....or actually want no one to hire me and punish me even though all Iv done is get questioned. Sheesh Nfreeman - at a point it's just ridiculous. Iv seen so many articles about Darby having character concerns, when he's done nothing. The draft is an absolute crapshoot, so posters claiming someone is nothing but depth but x and y were better players at positions if needs is incredible to me. We know nothing about these players but where they are on a mock draft. Bills inactive in free agency - losers and cheap. Bills active in free agency and sign actually GOOD proven players - poorly ran team trying to build through FA
  11. But why should some teams handicap themselves and operate at a higher moral level than others? Police said he's not a suspect, he is cooperating. What do you want nfl teams to do, investigate him during a police investigation of a double murder? Other teams are trying to sign him, the bills shouldn't lot so so because he might be guilty. If he is, then you cut him. If the bills play wait and see, and the Dolphins sign him, and turns out guilty, I'm not going to wag my finger at the Dolphins, and I'm not going to praise the bills. So many players get signed with criminal question marks, I don't want my team not doing so we can can praise them after the fact if your ex got murdered, you would 100 percent be questioned. No doubt. That's all that happened. I don't think you should be punished for that, I believe innocent until proven guilty. Especially for someone who would 100 percent be questioned for a crime, and for someone not ruled as a suspect. Again, just based on that, if the bills sign him as others are trying to do, please explain why anyone could blame them or why I am naive. Might be wrong, but I don't think naive lol. Edit: I'm just grumpy because this is the time of year where the bills can do no right for so many people. If we don't spend money but the Dolphins do, then we had a bad off season and Dolphins didn't. If we spend money, we are overspending (we get players like clay, harvin, McCoy and they got mike Wallace and ellerby). If Dolphins trade up to get dip Jordan, it's praised. If we trade up for Watkins, it's a terrible trade. No matter who we draft, even though none of us know, they were a reach and better players at needed positions were available. 3 years ago we drafted Aaron Williams. People hated the pick as we didn't need DB with McGee and Florence, or safeties with whither and Byrd I believe. And can't miss DE prospects like Reed and someone else were available along with mallet. The pick was crucified, and the value pick was mallet or one of the DE. Fact is no one knows anything, but they know the bills reached or what the better pick was. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but the bills have drafted really well lately. Collins is the most sought after UDFA of all time, the bills are one of the teams being aggressive. All we know is he got questioned for a crime anyone would have been, and he is cooperating with police. And now if we sign him I'm going to have to read about the bills signing a thug or how we should have waited.
  12. I don't think this is a common perspective at all. Or it's not anything I'm aware of at least, but if it is please share. The educational problem is so complicated with so many issues to discuss. Is it that so many are getting college degrees, that it's not that they are less valued for all, but the demographic is so large and varied that the statistics are misleading? A lot of not so smart people go to school and get not so good grades and then get not so good jobs. I think for those that get good grades and have strong work ethics, a college degree is still a valuable tool. Or is graduate school the new undergraduate degree? Or was graduate school the new undergraduate school, and now select graduate degrees are the new graduate schools. Huh? Sleep time
  13. At no point. All teams should be interested and no reason to think he did it
  14. They literally look like someone tossed 32 letters at a page
  15. haha none of it is at you, I hate draft grades so much. I know you said they are dumb ( think you said that). I just think they are ridiculous and make no sense. It's literally someone rating how an nfl team with their needs and schemes did compared to their big board
  16. Sorry in my opinion, that's just a load of crap. If value is determined by how close you matched mock draft big boards then that is laughable. For starters, there is so much variation starting in round 2, and only increases afterwards. Two, it takes systems into no account which is huge in the NFL. Third, its stupid. Anytime someone goes against the mock big boards, its a bad value pick. Anytime someone picks someone that is dropping, its a good value pick. It sounds so silly. Bruce irvin was such a bad value pick. But trent richardson was spot on value!
  17. Isn't value impossible to know since we know exactly 0 nfl draft boards? Mock people can do pretty decent of picking the 1st round guys, but that's about it. So we're really gonna judge the value based on those guys? As far as I'm concerned, value is relative to something else. Since we don't have anything of significance to compare it to, we can't determine value
  18. Watkins trade will be looked at favorably if we become a good team. You all are over thinking it. If our line is good this year and clay is good at TE, then what exactly did Watkins cause us to miss out on. I didn't see anything to hint we would take ODB at 9 last year, I thought it was gonna be Enron (could be wrong about that). But Watkins + clay kills 19th pick + ebron. Now if we would've taken ODB at 9 without a trade, then that's another thing. Also it's been 1 year. Judging that draft is only a little less silly than judging this draft
  19. Tori Hunter is a known bigot
  20. Isnt the guard smaller and not a big mauler? Isnt darby a man coverage guy who struggles in zone?
  21. I dont think dixon has shown anything resembling an effective power back imo. Well you shouldnt be able to tell a team's needs from 5th round draft picks. Or at least you should hope not :P
  22. Brown doesn't play like a power back at all and Dixon can't run lol. Great special teamer though.
  23. If he is a real power back then I like the pick. Something we don't have. It's the 5th round, pick best player available no matter what
