I have to agree with everything Ogre is saying. There was nothing wrong with Tails. For the youngsters he had, he was doing a great job helping develop them, IMO. I understand wanting to change directions, but I think Taylor would’ve pivoted with the plan just fine. I was also finally having fun going to Amerks games for the first time in many years.

The regular season is already damn near meaningless, no harm in extending it another 3-5 games for the 9-24 qualifiers. We all know Bettman would enjoy the extra income from it - it’s why we are doing it this season.
