We had a lottery at work today. Winner received a new iPad Air 2. I had 20% odds of winning. I did not win. The person with 10% odds won (they had 5th best odds). Depressed. -

Just create a system where teams compete for draft spots. As soon as you are eliminated from playoff contention, you start earning points every time you win. Teams eliminated earlier can get a head start, but if you aren't winning, it doesn't help you. Simple.
