Didn't mind the pick at the time, but in back of my mind I was wondering when buffalo ever had the better brother. Oh yeah, and we needed LHD at the time as well. Sergachev was a huge miss from the start. That being said he had a knee injury all of last year, I think he was injured twice in Buffalo. Two long injuries in Chicago, and if he can't break into a top 6 spot... Now with the pens they have 3 capable veteran centers to guide him.

We traded him just in time , Jokiharju trade looking like a steal right now. That being said he did have some bad luck with injuries last two years.

All the teams will be half baked, countries like Germany will have more of a chance. Sweden, Finland, Canada, USA, Russia, Czech republic, Those are the countries missing their best players.
