Arsenal is one of few teams i can still respect in europe, always playing with young guys while not adding debt.
Hope it was 2015 already and the financial fair play rules where already put in place so no team could ammas debt anymore.
Also on a side note good news for Madrid and barcelona haters, the complaint made by several european teams for illegal financial governement aid is finally being looked at after 8 years.
In the case of Madrid we are speaking of 900 million euro. With their current debt added they are close to bankruptcy , not that will ever happen we can all dream can't we :P

I wouldn't, players from the area who grew up watching and being a fan of the sabres, they'll always have that litlle kid inside that wanted to be a sabre.
Those should be Callahan and Kane (in 2015). Hell even Ott said its nice playinig closer to home and i consider him one to come back also.
We might have to overpay Callahan and Ott over the next two years but if i want two guys teaching our kids its those two.
Edit: if kane refuses to extend with chicago i can see him beeing with us sooner rather than later, allthough that wouldn't fit the tank plan :P

I may not have the same sentiments about Roy than most of you, but on a good team and he is your 3rd line center, you don't get rid of him.

This all won't happen, trade is done,won't get anything in return to replace klesla, not like any of us was waiting on what he would bring to the team.
Most he could do was take webers spot.

Don't know, everyone is raving about this kid, but he is still a kid, guess i'll go nuts about him when he is playing for the sabres but i just can't get myself to be interested in him much.
Youtube can't satisfy me in thinking he'll be our next saviour.

What would this board do if we acquired another 2015 first round pick from a fringe team that misses the playoffs, the islanders defer, we end the season with the 1st and 2nd pick pre lottery. The #14 team whos pick we own wins that lottery and we draft 1,2,3 in 2015... Would anyone else sh!t their pants?

This is the one deal that I'm sorta confused on. It seems like he bent over for McPhee. Rostislav Klesla? - Yuck. And paying them a third....geesh. I like Neuvirth a bit, but the trade seems like we gave up....too much lol.
halak for neuvirth straight up we win , so a 3rd added is not giving anything up, and klesla is just another body we can use a stopgap.

Well i can see him basically help creating a 3rd line that is more 2A than an actually 3rd line.

Well we like to joke alot, but conacher is high energy 3rd line guys for me on a good team that can fill in the top 6 spots during a game when needed.
Don't see anything more in him than that.

3 - 4 years, smart guy, lowballing our expectations for when this team does well in 2 yrs everyone will say he is a great GM.

Trades happened that i thought never would. Like erat en penner, just hope this isn't teams going after Tier 2 trades because of not wanting to meet the asking prices of tier 1 trades.

Agreed. Which is why I am glad that GMTM is taking a hard stance on Moulson for Toffoli. There aren't really any other top prospects worth my perceived value for Moulson. That and LA needs scoring badly.
The rumors of Philly talking big move for Kesler are heating up too. Intriguing...
Rumours are sabres are allowing teams to talk to moulson about a contract extension, so that should help with getting Toffoli.
