What will be the Sabres approach at the trade deadline?
bob_sauve28 replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
What do you want to do? Trade all our talent to watch them win the cup on another team? Be patient or don't, I don't care. i hope we just stay the course. I believe in the young talent we have. They do need to add vets, but I don't know if anyone will trade us a Mike Ramsey, but I would sure like that. -

What will be the Sabres approach at the trade deadline?

Isn't there a lot to be optimistic about? This is a talented roster. We have Dahlin and Thompson, any team in the league would love to have those players There is a fine line between winning and losing. All those blown leads show that they are just on the wrong side of that line. They did play well enough to get those leads after all. They look like the young team they are at times. Deer in the headlights look. If they hate losing they will learn from that. Patience is hard, but these guys will get better. -

Sure, but they actually do have a lot of good young talent bubbling up now. In past years we traded Samson and Jack to improve the culture because it was "time to move on." Should we repeat that mistake? -

Maybe they believe in the talent here and want the young players to improve. Young team, I'm hoping they put it all together. Of course you add a few in trades and free agents, but our young core is what it is..young and getting better -
Wow! 1-2 punch next year in Buffalo with goaltenders?

Please, please, please get him some help, surround him with more talent as he heads into his prime years. He is such a great talent, person and leader it would be sad to waste this players best years -

When Zucker was asked if he was frustrated there was no response on Noeson on either hit, Zucker's says the proper response was the team won the game. "He can hit me from behind, and we scored a goal. So he made two plays that cost their team a win. We’ll take that all day," Zucker said. "We can talk about responding, but you’re not going to go do something that’s going to cost our team a win when you don’t know what happened. I could’ve dropped my gloves and tried to fight someone, but I’m going to get a two, a five and a 10 for instigating, I’m going to get kicked out of the game. If I respond differently after he hits me after my goal, I’m going to take a penalty and that’s going to cost us possibly. So a lot of the time, the best response is to not do anything. I think it’s a little bit different on the 'Tommer' hit, but I don’t think anyone had a clear view of it. Tuch and the guys that weren’t playing said the broadcast really didn’t catch it until late, so it’s easy to say there’s no response, but personally, I disagree with that."

I wonder what Isak thinks? Probably just thrilled to be up in NHL I'd think. My question is, does he get Power Play time. He seems kind of good playing along the wall and making plays. We need help on PP I may be crazy, but perhaps its a lunatic your looking for...

He was cruising past the crease and UPL was down reaching for puck and Malkin clipped him in top of the head. It was not intentional Zucker got assaulted in from of net with a vicious cross check and no one did anything at all.
