Why would anyone listen to the media about who is liked or not? Weren't they all over Samson for his bad attitude? Sometimes players don't get along with the media and that pisses them off think of all the players that have gone to Europe to train with him in the last season if they took the C off easily their best player, a guy who cares about winning - I think that would be the last straw for me

It's amazing to me that they have a guy who literally scored on his own goal in the first minute of the 3rd period in a 2-2 game and another D making a perfect pass to an opposition forward while up 2-0. But people still feel the need to post " power has to be more physical ". it would be hilarious if it was so tiring reading the same post over and over.

For Cozens? If the issue was Tage couldn't take face offs, wouldn't Larkin be able to do that as well as Cozens does? Raymond? I doubt it's either of their 2 young dmen

Exactly about the need for an entire 2nd pair IMHO the team needs to bring in more D rather than moving guys out I wouldn't trade either Byram or Power I would however trade Cozens, a high end prospect and a draft pick to add more D or a #1 center.

good analysis except I think you are being kind to Gilbert on that first goal. Fed it into the slot, perfect pass to the Kraken forward on the 3rd goal it didn't bounce off Bryson, he put it into his own net. The wheels completely fell off at this point I get a lot of us want to see the Sabres add to their forwards but I REALLY think a RHD to play with Power is critical (then again it's been an urgent for the last 3 years and nothing has been done by Adams) you can probably get away with dressing one of Bryson, Jokiharju and Gilbert but not all 3 in the same game

One thing I've noticed that once a bad breaks goes against UPL , he is susceptible to giving up a leaky one or two

They only have 3 dmen who are NHL level now, not sure trimming it to 2 would be a good idea. but you do need a true #1 centre.

Sorry didn't realize you wanted a team of 21 year olds who were drafted 3 years ago. 1) when he comes over he will be able to contribute right away 2) he's trade value could help them too, if they go that road. Hoping they don't cause he's a player built for tough hockey

Why in the world would you think Poltapov is a disappointment? he's playing a prominent role on one of the biggest clubs in the KHL. He's the 3rd leading scorer among their forwards. Which is pretty good since he doesn't get PP time to boost his stats. Not to mention his game really shouldn't be graded by the amount of goals and assists he gets, he brings so much more than that might want to give Östlund some time in the AHL while healthy before you write him off as well It's also a bit unfair to compare drafts success of Adams vs Murray and JBot at this time The kids drafted in Adams first year are all just turning 22 Looking at the 2021 I see 5 guys with an NHL career (Power, Rosen, Poltapov, Novikov and Kodak) that's a pretty successful draft in my opinion
