I don't mind imagining but I don't think i want to be in a spot to draft Bedard because of the new Move-Up Limitation. Though, i still think the Sabres will finish out of the playoffs, I HOPE they are competing for a spot right till the end of the season. Finishing with the 14,15 or 16th worst record in the league. They would have to finish 11th or worse to have a shot at Bedard. Michkov might drop but not to where the Sabres will likely (IMHO) be drafting. I think im going to have to add this to your long list of failed guarantees.

The kid is a bull. I can see him becoming a fan favourite when he plays for the Sabres

JJP is quickly going to make people look silly for not including him on the roster.

Here is the Sabres projected line up from NHL.com Skinner. Tage. Olofsson Krebs. Mitts. Tuch Asplund. Cozens. Quinn JJ. Girgs. Okposo Samuelsson. Dahlin Power. Lyubushkin Bryson. Joker I could see this line up for the first few weeks of the season. What better linemates for JJ than Girgensons and Okposo?

I don't see Matthew Tkachuk as a guy that will "carry the team" Had a great year last year but the year before had 16 goals. Which Tkachuk are you getting? I can't answer this but how much of his production last year was riding on Johnny Hockey's coattails? He is supposed to be a "playoff" type guy but followed up his Hat-trick in game 1 vs Edmonton with 1 assist in the next 4. If the cost is Quinn, Savoie and next years first then I would hope the Sabres stay the course and move on.

Just as maybe Vegas feels now, giving away 3 or 4 quality pieces for 1 isn’t good business

The kid has incredible vision. Works hard and is smart. He can a few goals but he’s always goi g to be more of a playmaker

We have not been here. In 2015, we may have had a good prospect pool but the actual team had nothing .5 or 6 players and a bunch of scrubs Now , it seems we have a legit NHL roster and a prospect pool over-flowing with talent Optimism about the future is rightfully sky high at the moment -

Yep he was another, seemed destined to have anNHL career and now May never play a game again, just my gut feeling but the Sabres lack of a decent development staff was a huge factor -

So many skilled forwards. I also wonder if the Sabres will say F*ck it to the traditional 4th line pluggers and just roll 4 lines that have skill, speed with a touch of grit -

I went to see both Bailey and Baptiste a few times in the OHL. Easily the best players on the ice in the games I saw. Still can’t believe neither were able to carve out a NHL career as 3rd or 4th line guys Bailey is hanging on by a thread and Baptiste is in Europe. I do wonder how they would have turned out if they were coached under the current development team? -
Think you could make a pretty good prospects team with the guys not playing today Savoie Kisakov Poltapov Haglen (injured?) Cederqvist Nadeau Novikov who am I missing ?

Load Management. bring them both in, if the price is right ie…don’t give up any roster players and noone drafted in the first two rounds, who are knocking on the door next years (lottery protected) 1st would be the main asset going back gives Chicago a clear path the Bedard

It’s only 1 year left on the contract. His value as a mentor off the ice would be worth the $10mill

I’m with Sweet Lou on this one. I’d love to see him mentor the kids. think he was still was 60% at the dot love the leadership of KO and Tuch but they don’t have the pedigree that Toews has.
