Well the Sabres were not scared.

That was a very enjoyable game. Hustle for 60 minutes. Took some shots but drove on. NHL tonight was making excuses for Tampa Bay. I do not care. These Sabers are worth watching and rooting for. All they need is two guys who will keep the other team in line but that can wait.

Lack of confidence and aggression in OT

Darn it. Asplund has to slow down a bit when he has a scoring chance. Alone in NJ end got a shot on goal in OT. You could feel in OT that NJ was going to win it.

Playing solid game on a back to back. In prior years this would be a train wreck.

I like this team. No superstar egos. Hard working guys. 60 minutes of hockey being played. They might not make the playoffs but they will entertain. Remind me of the Sabres early in the 1970s.

They might not win a ton of games this season but mi think this squad will be entertaining and into every game. No slugs on this roster

Lose another good player. Perpetual rebuilding mode. SIGH

Sabres will be hard pressed to hire a quality coach who needs to make the playoffs in quick order when there are rumors of a fire sale on the top talent.

The Sabres are heading down the same path they did the last go around. Ended up with a guy who was not up the the job. Ownership will settle for a no body and hope he can perform a miracle

People are over thinking. It was a celebration of 50 years with the Sabres.

The center part of the ice seems to be choppy. Both teams are having trouble the the puck. More urgency is needed by the Sabres. Missed the empty net! That is the season in a nutshell.
