Thanks.. Just saw that. And of course the IDAM system being used to get my login credentials from Spectrum is failing. Gotta love it. So I can't authenticate to Spectrum to get the ESPN3 feed... Oh well. We shall see if it sorts itself out today.

Is there a legal TSN.ca stream anywhere? I so much prefer TSN trade coverage to sportsnet

It was nice to be there in person to watch all the Boston fans leave with their heads down. I almost yelled out “You just lost to Buffalo!” right at the face off with 4.2 seconds left... but I didn’t. No need to be that guy. After all, they are going to the playoffs. Sabres showed a lot of jump for most of the game. I think last night it began to sink in that some guys are leaving tomorrow and it deflated the room a bit. Tonight they looked ready to go. Bring on the deadline... so we can discuss the draft.

At least there’s a game to watch. For all those who like to play hypothesis hoopla. Kane plans on being in Buffalo next season. They agreed to trade him if something came up. If he’s injured or not traded they will sign him this season. If he’s traded he’ll come back for an “agreed upon” contract next season. It might even be one of those we will pay you X, if you can get substantially higher take it or allow us to match it. This has happened before. Just some fun thinking.

I might resort to that. I have a ton of points to get a free night at Marriott so that’s why I have the preference. I’ll keep Adams mark in mind.. nothing wrong with that.

Pick the place.. I need to look back where everyone is sitting and decide which ticket I need to buy for the game.... I should also check and see if any rooms are available at a nearby Marriott. THe beer selections, for me, at Gabriels Gate was a little less than spectacular.. but hey.. I'm good.. I just need to have my hotel room to crash in.

It's pretty simple. If you are ignored by a lot of people it's probably time to look in the mirror. As for the politics.... it was explained.. so be it. There's no NEED to inject political commentary to this board especially if you've been warned about it repeatedly. Even if it appears to be in the Oliver thread.. just... don't... do it. Meh. The forum is like society. There's intolerance and lot people yelling at each other about who is right without any desire to accept it might be the other person. Make a decree... so be it. Or more lately.. object to a point.. just to object and stir the proverbial pot. Escalate it to 11 (not you Eleven) and see if we can create sparks or better. Meh... It's not the Sabres making this happen.

Despite so many media reports saying the opposite and the fact that his own network's trade tracker had him at #1? That's really a puzzling statement. I am convinced that so many people talk about the flavor of the moment that they can't recall what they said 3 days ago.

I understand more now. I think, frankly, he doesn't want to be in Buffalo. The players who are staying at he moment (and I am not sure we know all who are really staying) are probably pieces that need to be here given their relative cost and performance. There are just a few too many of those type of players at the moment.
