    He could have done so much better at managing the message and executing the plan. The day Rahm left the west wing everything went down hill. Val Jerrett just isn't cut from the same ruthless get ###### done cloth as Emanuel was. Policy-wise, the president was dead on, but he let the GOP convince millions of Americans that he's a bad president, that the fallout from GWB was somehow his fault, and that he was not only hurting the country, but incapable of leading it. He let the GOP win statehouse after statehouse in 2010 and redraw the electoral map, ensuring a decade or more of GOP majorities in the house. That alone knocks him down enough to not be considered a "great" president. Policy is a huge part of the Presidency, and he's done really well. But Politics and leadership are important too, and he's been atrocious. The suffering caused by the obstructionism from the GOP is partially his fault. He may be able to run with FDR on policy, maybe even better, but he couldn't lead, politically nor as an executive.

    They're not Edmonton, they're the less talented version of Leafs. They are far outplaying their possession stats. It's unsustainable. They're gonna be in the hunt for DFL, but this kind of streak is great to teach the guys what it feels like to string some wins together. Keep that fire burning.

    Definately agree with the bolded. Even the vets that are gonna get traded have to try, because unlike vanek, moulson, ott, and miller, they are not known NHL quantities with inherent value. They need to prove something more than those guys for their next contract.

    Zemgus is on pace for 44 points. Which would likely put him in the top 50 in scoring for centers. Playing really tough minutes, as a Sophomore, on a ###### team, and maintaining the best +/- on the squad. This guy. Seriously. This. Guy.

    Gotcha. I'm not sure what the party lines were before October of 2000 (when I joined the electorate) but for the parties today, the ignoring facts is heavily slanted to one side.

    It's a bigger deal than that. I have no doubt that many gun rights activists actually believe that what weave wrote is the truth. Just like climate change, the personal choice of sexual orientation, and the idea that abstinence is a good public policy. The data, the analysis, the facts, don't back it up. Of course, the data, the analysis, and the facts just get exaggerated by so many liberals that it becomes noise. But at least they're facing in the right direction.

    There was just a study released showing a strong relationship between right to carry laws and and INCREASE in violent crime when you control for the crack epidemic of the late 80s, early 90s.     Seems reasonable due process was followed. Just for clarity: The ban is for repeated unsupported libel after being requested by board management to cease and desist. The ban is not for simply putting forth a half baked conspiracy theory. Correct? Because I occasionally love me some half baked internet conspiracy theories.

    Can a candidate win the GOP primary in 2016 without promising to reverse these executive actions? Can a candidate win the general election after promising to have the friends and family of tens of millions Americans deported? I believe the gauntlet is down. The GOP cannot win the White House until this issue is legislatively put to bed.
