Watching playoff hockey is kind of depressing knowing we are still years away. Buffalo could not even come close to competing with the home teams.

End of the season stretch?? Didn't lose like 4 out of their last 5? My God, the standards of this crap organization are even lower than I would have ever guessed.

As soon as this team falls out of 8th by 8 points or more by December, I check-out emotionally and could not care less if they lose every game the rest of the season. This pathetic group cannot even make games interesting from January - April. I would love to see a stat that showed how many points from 8th they have been over the last 14 years. Other than last year, I would be willing to bet they they were 10 points or more for most of them.

Just realized that this is the first season since I was roughly 8 years old that I did not go to one game. Thanks for the most depressing season in my lifetime, go team.

Did not even seem like there was a season this year. All it showed me was a preview for what next year will look like as well. I hope they get their doors blown off tonight at home and the last thing they will hear are the boos from the stands.

Unfortunately, it's a terribly run organization from top to bottom, so winning the Cup just isn't a reality for me. I just want to enjoy a full season for once in 15 years.

14 years of missing the playoffs, I am totally fine if their goal is 8 seed next year. Just give me a freaking reason to be interested after the month of December. This organization is never winning the Cup.

Because I would rather have UPL shake whatever hell he is in right now and not wait until it matters in October. They absolutely cannot gamble with goalies anymore or it's gonna be 15 years.

Now that they are officially eliminated, they will play their best game of the year. Is it safe to put UPL in now that it's over? There is ZERO point in playing the 38 year old backup anymore. And I am sure other fanbases around the league would say Buffalo would be the first to be cut out of the NHL.

March and April are never the time to judge bad hockey teams. When October hits and teams need to get off to a fast start, Buffalo will be facing starting goalies, intensity will be higher, and our true colors will be revealed once again. These guys need to figure out what changes need to be done in order to survive the first half of the season while sticking in the top 8. Florida, Toronto and Tampa will obviously be above them next year so once again, their goal has to be the 7/8 seed.

They absolutely have to buy UPL out. He is one of the worst backup goaltenders in the league, and our idiot GM signed him to a five-year deal. Out of all the dumbest things that he has done, this might top them all.

At least he is not under contract for another 4 years at almost 5 millions per year, that would have REALLY been bad.
