Looong way to go but I am starting to like my Cup match-up

I honestly won't even let myself picture this kid on the Sabres because you know, you just KNOW it's not gonna happen right?

So it looks like we are guaranteed a top line Center which should make the 25% chance at number 1 a little less stressful. Are Reinhardt and Draisaitl projected as top line Centers or do they peak at the 2nd line?

That is ALL he should care about because money is not an issue. Giving away a home game...what a joke. And as far as the playoffs, a win yesterday and that is ALL this city talks about for another week. EVERY SINGLE team that Buffalo needed to lose over the last 2 weeks lost and STILL, this team chokes it away.

This team can ill afford to create more holes. The solution is to find a true #1 receiver and Stevie will thrive in the #2 role. Nobody is in a worse mood than me over this loss but let's not cut some of our best players because of it. 14-0 lead against a 2-9 team and they can't close the deal?! This team has way more problems on defense than people may realize and THAT is what is most disturbing about this team. Draft the top LB, WR or TE and hopefully some issues go away. I hope those millions Ralph gets with games being in Toronto was worth it as the playoffs die on the vine at a neutral field.

As a season ticket holder, It WILL be a party for me. You know that CRAP effort that we have been seeing from the veterans for the past few years, it's over. We better get used to silver linings around here so here is one about there being no consensus #1 guy - You know with our luck, we would not get the first pick with the worst record. That 25% won't be good enough and so when we pick 2nd, it won't be heartbreaking knowing that we did not lose a legit superstar.

Miller couldn't give two craps, he knows he is out of here soon. There is a reason you have basically seen zero emotion (win or loss) this year from him - he checked out mentally at the end of last season....

So glad this is now done. That whole MN thing was scaring me. Vanek lost all interest in this team and the youth has been carrying any good play so far this season. Get Miller on the next train outta here and call it a day. I can finally breathe now that the TRUE rebuild is now underway. Get a power forward for Miller, draft top center and off we go.

Stafford represents EVERYTHING that is wrong with this team. He gets outworked every game and not because he is smaller and less skilled, it's because he does not put in the effort. I'll take Gerbe on this roster a million times over instead of this gutless player.

Last night's effort from Stafford is EXACTLY why this pansy needs to get off this team sooner than later. When I see that he can put forth effort like that from start to finish and be a real difference maker within a game, it makes me sick to my stomach to think about how many game this free loader just mails it in. I have NO doubt in my mind he is thinking "I'll play hard for a few games, get my value up and maybe they can trade me to another team where I can mail it in all over again." There is NO explanation that he can give on why we can see a game like that ONCE every year. Knowing that he has the talent but NO heart makes me hate him even more. Play hard Staff because nobody would love to get your trade value up more than me.

Miller will NEVER go to Edmonton, come on. If you want to talk to a team right now, Washington is it. I see them as a Miller away from being very good.....

I could build a contender with 3 more "losing heavy" seasons. This pathetic bunch of hockey people is paid to make moves that actually help the team instead of setting them back constantly. If they rely on top draft picks over the next 3 years, they have already given up......
