  1. Anybody have a good link? Skinner and Sam, good combination. Skinner has one heck of a back hand, it's deadly. Let's Go Buffalo!
  2. Nylander, Oglevie, O'Regan, Smith, Borgen, and Guhle, to Rochester you go.
  3. Bailey looks like the only one that deserves a promotion and a spot on the 4th line.
  4. Nylander WTF! To Rochester you go; take Casey with you, and see if you can win a championship down there. Guhle WTF! Wow, when it rains it pours. Holy Shi*, there you go set up Columbus for the one timer in the slot.
  5. He looked lost in the last game. Needs some games in Rochester, he doesn't look ready to play in the NHL.
  6. Good job C.J. Jack & Sam, I hope they stay together for awhile.
  7. Sam gets a goal. Missed it. Let's Go Buffalo!
  8. What did Bergs do to deserve that penalty? 2min for playing the body.
  9. Very Nice! The D scores! Let's Go Buffalo!
  10. Dahlin seems to be having trouble when he get's pressured. I recall how Myers early on would circle back when the pressure was on, and it didn't take long before teams had his number. It will be interesting to see how long it will take Dahlin to adjust to the North American game.
  11. Sabres Hockey Is Back! Let's Go Buffalo! God job ladies. What an awesome event for the community of Clinton, N.Y.
  12. Does NHL Center Ice broadcast the preseason games?
  13. Just had a chance to see the 4th Toronto goal on the Direct T.V. playback, and Guhle isn't going to have much of a career if he doesn't understand he is going to have to be much more physical if he is going to make it in this league. That guy should have been on his butt as he drove to the net after Toronto won the face-off. It's the same thing that was so aggravating to see last year, in that guys instead of playing the body in close they chose to poke ans swipe at the puck, and more times than not that kind of defense ended in disaster for Buffalo. This group needs to acquire a more physically aggressive approach to their defensive game plan or this team is going to continue to lose the one goal games that could've given them a chance at a playoff spot. Tage Thompsons' goal was fantastic and I would like to see Nylander get a few more games before being sent back to Rochester. Let's Go Buffalo!
  14. Yeah, and in the playoffs. Wouldn't that be nice. Sabres make the Playoffs. ☺️
  15. Vegas was pedal to the metal throughout the year. It didn't matter if they were up 4 goals in the last 5 minutes, they were looking to get five and six all the way to the final buzzer. Team speed and a relentless effort night in and night out. I would like to see the Sabres make that their identity.
  16. I like the way E Rod plays the game. He's a regular pain in the azz for the opposition by being in a position to steal pucks. Once he takes possession he can either make a good pass or turns the play back up the ice himself. He plays with a lot of enthusiasm and speed, both of which are qualities the Sabres desperately need in a player. It's always nice to have a guy that specializes in one aspect of the game, e.g. face-offs, stealing pucks, checking, puck possession, etc. First, Jaromir Jagr could hold onto a puck down low in the corner at will, and when he was ready could put one in the net from the edge of the circle or could make a great passing play. Second, Patrick Kaleta wasn't the most talented Sabre on the ice but, the one thing he could do was body check and move guys off the puck. This would translate into puck possession for the good guys in a shut down roll, or would buy time for a skilled guy to make an offensive play. Finally, ROR could win a face-off when you needed it. Having the puck is always a good idea. Good playoff teams have guys like this up and down their roster. IMO, E Rod plays the kind of game and has the positive attitude the Sabres need; with this in mind, I hope the Sabres take a little more time finding out how much game he has to offer, and adds players that have the unique skills that will help us get to the playoffs. Let's Go Buffalo!
  17. Great move. IMO Skinner has always been a Sabres killer. I dreaded seeing that guy get the puck on his stick, especially when games were tight. The guy can battle, his back hand shot is deadly, and he's good in the shootout. I'm sure glad he's a Sabre now. Let's Go Buffalo!
  18. I apologize I didn't word things correctly. I was hoping someone could expound upon players, injuries, and how an NHL team might structure a contractual deal with a player that has recovered from injuries but, maybe not to the degree that everyone including the player would like. I'm sure there are good players that are potential health time bombs but, they're future prospects or proven veterans.
