That sure is a lot of blue and gold in our net. Take a piece of plywood, paint it Blue and Gold and voila, you have Ullmark. That's a lot of MODO Hockey there. Big Boy!

I like the fact that Skinner doesn't mindlessly throw pucks at the net but, instead, he takes time to make a play. I hope gone are the day's when the Sabres work hard to gain possession and get the puck down ice just to take a low percentage shot.

I can only speak for myself; however, you seem to have the pulse of those of us that frequent the GDTs. I can only speculate on what you have in mind but, I'll venture out and guess that you may be referring to a disturbance in the force surrounding the Sabres Nation on game day. Please allow me a possible explanation, 19 years of losing, and no playoff hockey. I'll be the first to raise my hand in shame and admit I've given in to the dark side, and that a regular dose of losing; in some cases, in the worst possible ways has had an accumulative effect on my overall attitude and responses. So, you're right "it's not that bad", and I appreciate the reminder to recognize the good things and to make an effort to be more positive. Please be patient, just remember what the faithful Sabres Nation has been through over the years; it may take some of us a little more time to readjust our line of thinking and begin to believe in this team again. I really like the changes that management has made and I look forward to the new season. Let's Go Buffalo!

Wow but the Sabres played responsibly not giving up the odd man rush, and they had quality chances. Sam was looking deadly, I thought he should of had two goals himself. He paid the price to get those chances, looking good. Skinner, ERod, Sheary, what a difference. Guys were anticipating plays and picking pucks off. This is going to be an exciting season if this is the norm. Let's Go Buffalo! By the way I'm not suggesting that the shot attempts be so lopsided going forward. They played a good team.

Having Hutton making plays up and out of the zone really helps. Hutton was frustrating Vegas who was looking to pin the puck down in our end; they were forced to guard against Hutton flipping the puck out to a forward heading out of the zone. We have a goalie!!! Respect.
