This team is so sad, I can't even get excited when they're on anymore. I love hockey, I Love the Sabres... At least I did. They're turning die hard fans into passive watchers. FU Terry, FU KA and FU buffalo curse.

My issue with coaching... This includes the assistants, as the coach has the power to change these. Our Perimeter play, and very soft play in general is 100% on coaching... If players are being coached to go to the dirty areas and they aren't, the coach needs to make changes. If they're not being coached to do so then that's a separate issue. Look at the slot when the Sabres play; I could set up a lawn chair and not worry about a breeze going by me. The PP is truly abysmal, I haven't seen a PP look so awful in years, no movement, stupid drop passes, odd man rushes against all the time. Simply unacceptable, that's a coaching issue. The overall defensive structure, what is it even!? Hey boys, go chase whoever you want and make out subpar goalies makes crazy saves. Again, coaching. I get that KA hasn't put DG in the greatest of situations, this team is very flawed, but putting KO on the PP and a struggling Cozens out in OT, you've gotta be better than that Donnieee. But hey, we hear about how well they get along and we get some funny social media videos from time to time so that makes it OK. This team has already alienated a whole generation with their crap play and they're trending Into another generation very quickly. Most other teams would have up and moved by now.

We aren't good. This team needs a shake up. Some major changes, this cannot be acceptable.

The last 3 weeks have had an increase in "sickness" I know I caught something 2 weeks ago and for about 4 days I could barely stay awake. Still lingering a bit. If it's hitting me this hard then there is no way a professional athlete is able to play up to par. I've seen some Covid but most of those have been pretty mild considering, whatever virus this is, it's annoying 😂

Yes 100% sarcasm on my part. All of Allen's injuries have essentially been in the Pocket. McDermott is too "old school" to take us any further. He's not a bad coach, just not an elite one.

Had it on in the background as I prepped dinner. I turned the game on and it was 3-0. I never used to miss the start of games if I'm home, and I always made sure I was back in front of the TV before intermission was over. I kind of just don't care anymore, enough to turn it on at least... But that's waning. As for gameplay, we still haven't figured out how to use the middle of the ice in the O zone after how many years?!? I saw many times where a player would get the puck and then just circle to the outside and take crappy little outside shots and then bam, out of the zone. Is it a talent issue, a coaching issue? Both. Either way, clock is ticking. If we miss the playoffs, it's time to start over with a new GM and coach... Again.

Pitt won, Cleveland won, Houston won...colts won. At 5-4 we are in the mix with all of these teams and have wayyyy too many conference losses. Unless we rattle off a wining streak, we are at high risk of missing completely.
