When the Sabres come to Nashville I wear my Sabres gear and cheer for them. If the Sabres ever met Nashville for the cup I'd cheer for them. I like a second team. A Sabres fan can't like a western conference team where he's lived for over fifteen years? Why not? Metro population is what matters relative to sports franchises, surely you must know that?

What would you prefer the media latched onto? There's not a lot of options with these two teams. Especially if you're trying to bring in viewers outside of the core NHL fan. Seriously, what better storyline would you prefer the media latched onto than the Cinderella predators and thier corny chanting fans?

I can only assume you're filling the contrarian void. I'll bite. We had fifty thousand people at three downtown viewing parties, and other viewing parties across middle Tennessee. When the sabres were in the finals I don't remember fifth thousand showing up in downtown Buffalo. I don't remember viewing parties in Olean, North Tonawanda or Niagara Falls. I don't remember seeing anything like this in ANY NHL city, and the contrast between Nashville and Pittsburgh is quite obvious. again, I can only assume you're filling the contrarian void.

I think many posters just want to get rid of Evander Kane the person, despite how good a hockey player he is.

It is truly indescribable. Its one of those things you can't really understand unless you experience it. Nothing like it.

In 92-93 I played rugby for Stuttgart in a second tier German league, I was payed $50 per game. In 94 I tried out for the Eagles, I was no where near good enough.

If you ever get the chance you should go. Awesome food and night life right outside the arena.

I thought a team could only protect three D? If so, Ekholm is the odd man out.

They could lose ekholm in the expansion draft, Smith is overpaid, and Girgs is an upgrade over over Jarnkrok. Plus, Kane would hit forty goals on a line with Jo and Arvy with Nashville's style of play.
