What would you prefer the media latched onto? There's not a lot of options with these two teams. Especially if you're trying to bring in viewers outside of the core NHL fan. I can only assume you're filling the contrarian void. I'll bite. We had fifty thousand people at three downtown viewing parties, and other viewing parties across middle Tennessee. When the sabres were in the finals I don't remember fifth thousand showing up in downtown Buffalo. I don't remember viewing parties in Olean, North Tonawanda or Niagara Falls. I don't remember seeing anything like this in ANY NHL city, and the contrast between Nashville and Pittsburgh is quite obvious. again, I can only assume you're filling the contrarian void.
