Feels like many players likely felt it was doomed from the start and felt it was an inevitability they’d miss

Any ideas for the Amerks next head coach?

Jay McKee, Vinny Prospal, James Patrick -
Miles Wood got an albatross of a contract for a guy in his position; I liked him in NJ but the contract he got was absurd
-
Colorado looks like the Sabres on a random day game.

A few options via trade: 3Cs Yanni Gourde 1x5.1 John Tavares(50-75%) 1x 5.5/2.75mil Phil Danault 3x5.5mil 4Cs Radek Fafsa 1x3.25

They will very likely run into the cap this year if not at latest next season.
-
I can't see them trying that; no one would buy tickets and fans would become downright toxic.

Guess Adams straight up lied to reporters about Ellis being moved elsewhere in the organization
-
Not at the draft, sorry; wanted him after his ELC and was on the outs in CGY
-
Always wanted Bennett and really wanted him when Florida got him from CGY. Solid bottom 6 guy who always showed up in the playoffs

I doubt Skinner has any intention on leaving and Muel isn't just getting waived. Joker will get 4 mil approximately regardless based on his previous contract. Stephenson won't take 4mil year for sure Tanev won't take 3 mil for sure I do apologize for bursting your bubble.

Moose Jaw took a sledgehammer to the Winterhawks 5-1 Win to go up 2-0 in the series

Really? But was a key player is my concern.

Savoie has slowly become the only “untouchable” non NHL prospect this year. Kulich’s playoffs were lackluster as was Rosen. Östlund and Wahlberg are still raw. If Savoie actually wins the WHL title with his team he’d become the first Sabres prospect to actually win their youth league championship in quite some time. So effectively he isn’t available for a rental or 3rd liner

Saw him at a Bills game last year talking with John Murphy and a couple Bills employees

That in of itself is sort of a catch-22; when your team is good the AHL team will naturally become storage for extra players. When your team is building up or tearing down you'll have an influx of youth needing a spot to play and Top 6 AHLers won't sign because they feel they should play on your NHL squad. I agree with this part; but also feel there's a limit on how much a player can gain from playing in lesser leagues and due to our prospect numbers it creates a bit of a crunch.
-
For a guy or two sure; he’s magically signed 5, Muel is missing and Skinner somehow ceased to be.
-
Cap is the issue here so its a mute point.

Why does the announcer remind me of the "apparently kid" with his inflections.

But the AHL is supposed to be the development league for the NHL primarily. If the Amerks are made up of developmental pieces primarily is that not technically supposed to be how all the teams should be? It just feels kind of two faced for the league to be all about development but their more successful set ups aren't anything close to that.

OT: New 3 on 3 Professional Hockey League coming to North America
thewookie1 replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Frankly feels like a purely bad thing 1. Saudi Funding 2. Potential talent siphoning 3. If it somehow has some success the NHL will become more gimmicky to combat the competition. -
I'd guess something has to happen however
-
Don't like that whatsoever
