What did he pull last year?
He was basically invisible, people blamed a lot of it on double and "triple teams", but other reports were he was playing not to get hurt and for the most looked like he gave no effort and his stats showed. The double and triple team is a lame excuse, If he is good in the NFL, are they not going to double team him ? Look at Mack stats, he had his best season and you can bet that he was doubled and "tripled teamed."
I put tripled teamed in quotes, because when I here someone saying they were tripled teamed, it sound like a lame ass excuse. Clowney has the makings of a diva and he going to find out in the NFL that you have to play hard all the time, not just when it suits you. I would take Mack over Clowney any day.

Getting reports everywhere that the Bills are seriously trying to obtain the #1 or #2 pick in tomorrow's draft. I'm kind of shocked. I don't think Clowney, Mack or Watkins, or especially a OT are worth jumping up there for, getting rid of next year's top pick in the process since that's what it will take.
I hope this doesn't happen
I'm with you, this would be a stupid move IMO, after what Clowney pulled last year, I would not pay the price of moving up to #1 to get him. I was high on Watkins, but I'm starting to think that Evans would be a better fit for what the Bills need. Ebron I'm not sold on at all. As far as the linemen, Robinson, Matthews and Lewan, one of them will fall to us at #9, if not there is always Martin, if the Bills do want to go for a lineman. If they really think they can benifit by moving up, work out something with the Raiders, it will be a lot cheaper.
Bottom line for me, is I do not want Clowney, I hate when players take a few plays off, this clown took a whole year off. If that's not a red flag, I don't know what is.

Subban knocks the net off accidently on purpose
I don't think he did do it intentionally, getting the puck around the boards and out of the zone (which he did attempt), is a lot better than having a faceoff in your own zone. Subban's been very good in these playoffs, but he's been on fire in this series.

Fixed it. Drafting Manziel would be a mistake, moving up to draft him would be a humongous mistake.
So I wonder if the Bills will move up in the draft. Since a new owner is coming in within 2 years, I'd think that the brass is going to try to prove themselves. So they could move up in the draft to get a big name, and I think that they would try to do that this year. How would you get your new bosses attention, if you knew that you were going to get a new boss? Still, dunno, but it will take a vision to keep the job, imo.
Since they may have a new owner in a year or two, they are not going to mortgage the draft picks from those years to move up this year, especially where there's no guaranteed star worth trading up to #1 for.

Too bad the camera work for the game isn't the same quality as the freakin 10 minute video of the Wolves to start the telecast. What kind of camera view was that on the Amerks 2nd goal, an orbiting satellite view ? Needed binoculars to see it on the TV.

That is equally offensive, but who is going to punish Larry Johnson? If you had made the same remarks as Sterling, who would punish you? Fact is, no one cares what Larry Johnson says, or what you say, or what I say, because we don't own NBA teams.
Larry Johnson is someone that is know to a lot of the public, do you think that if any former well known player from the NHL was to say that the NHL should be an all white league, there wouldn't be an outrage and some kind of action taken against him ? Anyone that believes that there is no double standard is fooling themselves.

I am really sick of hearing about this already, with hockey playoffs and basketball playoffs going on and the NFL draft just over a week away, all I keep hearing on sports is this drama about an 80 year old man saying something considered to be racist. Is what he said racist and is he a racist ? Sure seems like it, but I really don't care enough to make it a major issue all week long, get done with it already. There are serious racism issues (against all races) happening every day, but they don't have the making of a weekly reality show to garner as much attention as this has, so we don't hear about them.

Never mind, I just watched it over, I thought that Sharp picked up the puck after the shot block. Time for glasses.

How the hell do they allow Cyranose to grab people far away from the play ? he lost his stick, went to the point and just grabbed the guy and held him, while the puck was in deep.

If it wasn't for 5 or 6 player on the team and the fact they are from Boston, I might like the Bruins.
Bertuzzi did a nice job in front of the net on Detroit's goal. It seems like he's been in the league forever.

A big part of Boston's game seems to be to hit and intimidate, I love physical hockey, but the ###### the Bruins get away with is crazy and the league does nothing about it. To think that a player like Lucic has only been suspended once (as far as I know), or Chara has never been suspended, is ridiculous. Chara could of killed Pacoretty and nothing was done. This garbage is allowed, while you have a player like John Scott, getting tossed for stepping on the ice ans Scott is far from being a dirty player. I don't know how the NHL survives with Bettman in control.
Datsyuk's goal may have been the first time I jumped up in celebration for a goal this season. I rarely root for other teams, but Go Wings (at least to you beat Boston).

We don't know this, but I disagree. He's trying to make a public statement against tanking next season which the old front office has nothing to do with.
I love how protected Mike Weber, a scrub, is on here while a young and talented player like Hodgson gets ripped.
Hodgson got ripped (at least by me) because he is a young and talented player that floated for two months. Having poor linemates has nothing to do with skating hard and giving some kind of effort.

Six times in the 19 NHL lottery's has the team that finished with the worst record been awarded the 1st pick. Being the worst obviously is no guarantee.
